Finally someone is asking the important questions! That's literally the first thing I think about when considering a new civ.

For Brazil there's still a middle green between Arabia and Aztecs in shade (Ethiopia in BtS I think). Not sure whether I'll use blue or yellow as the secondary color.

Argentina will use a very light blue that's almost white, and a light yellow (like China's) as secondary color.

I read your post above out loud to my wife and she totally understands your point. What colour is one of the most important questions in her view too, regardless of the context.

Egypt didn't exist in 600 AD. Ethiopia is currently non-existent because all civs with failed UHVs are.

iirc you're planning to change the scenario-determiner so it no longer based on whether Egypt is playable = 3000 BC or 600 AD.. so you can add the 1700 AD scenario as well.

After that reformation,
will it be possible to make Egypt spawn at 3000BC in 3000BC scenario, 1200AD in 600AD and do not spawn in 1700 AD scenario, or it's still not possible? :)

Not without further changes I'm not really willing to make.

IIRC, there's a semi-scripted spawn for Egypt around 900 AD or so that represents the Fatimids. Seeing them with Baibars as LH isn't exactly correct though. I feel like when 900 AD Egypt is running Theocracy, it should be called the Fatimid dynasty/empire with Al-Muizz as LH (this leader already exists in SoI), and when it's running dynasticism, it should be called the Mamluk dynasty and retain Baibars as leader.

I think one medieval leader for Egypt is enough.

People are disproportionally accurate with these things when it comes to Middle East, which is probably a side effect of SoI's attention to detail. On RFC's level of granularity, the difference between the Fatimids and Mamluks is only worth a dynamic name, and nobody complains when Tang Taizong is leader of the Song Empire either.

There was a Taizong of the Song, drop Tang and we're good.

Haha, it's still the same LH for two different guys.

How is it that one changes the spawn chance of Poland etc.? There was a file to edit, but I forgot its name and can't seem to find a post explaining what/where it is :)

Assets\XML\GlobalDefinesAlt.xml. There's an explanation in the comments.

I haven't added them yet. They're not even conditional like Italy at the moment. It's not a final release after all ;)

im curious to know how the greek auto stacks happen. is there a specific year for it? what triggers when this happens

i was just playing persia, and i started at war with greece. i capitulated them, later on as my vassal they still got their stacks and unvassalized and declared war. should they still get them if they are a vassal?
