And they say that Americans run joke candidates.

I asked a question.
And here's your answer:

No worries oh touchy one, I was talking about all those who would benefit by keeping their silence. An unlike some I don't draw the lines along political affiliations.

You used a borderline insult.
Copying your terminology. So how do you call what you were using?

And they say that Americans run joke candidates.

Wait to you observe the front benches of the House of Commons. Trust me: it is like watching a public school dinning argument.

He says things as it is. I like that in characture.

Nope!

And they say that Americans run joke candidates.

He has fooled you.
In reality he is a serious politician who harbours ambitions to be leader of the conservative party. His eccentric personality is just to a sop to the general public.

Maybe he hopes his incompetence would destroy the current political system? ;)

Considering our the PMs of the last decades and the many threats in the last centuries our political system seems to be unkillable.

I also preverve to change then to destroy, although I would love to see a indepedent Wales...

Even his serious proposals are so divorced from reality that it's impossible to view him as anything other than a joke candidate.

I wouldn't ask Falstaff to run a country, or Stephen Colbert.

Surely, you need a political opinion in the first place to make that call...

Nope, just an academic one. And the man thought that NCH was a great idea.

I wouldn't ask Falstaff to run a country, or Stephen Colbert.

But they would be awesome. :(

Comedians would make the best political figures... for politics is the entertainment branch of the industry according to Frank Zappa.
