You wanted Nubia the last time, so I might have suspicions that the next one wouldn't be Indonesia but Siam, since you, I guess, accidentally predicted the African DLC.
Or maybe I could be off, since we tried to predict the South-East Asian one more often and before the African one.
If the second component is for Africa, it should be able to tie in with the SEA civ somehow, for scenario purposes. Madagascar seems like the most likely choice in that regard, since it was colonized by ancient Indonesians.
I know Indonesia is all but confirmed as the SEA civ, but I wish it was Thailand/Siam instead - purely for personal reasons. My girlfriend is from Thailand and we'll be travelling there in October. Maybe Firaxis will see the romantic side of this and overhaul their DLC6 plan just for me
I personally would love to see Madagascar. I don't really know why... maybe because it'd be unique and probably fun to have. There's also a bunch of stuff to base the civilization around, gameplay-wise.

Fair enough. We don't know the scenario though. Colonialism (defending against european powers / making most profit of your domestic luxuries) could potentially include both Africa and SEA.
What do you think about my point that GH is a DLC-bundle? maybe yay or probably nay?

If we were basing reality off of personal desires, I'd still like to see the Burmese (/etc.), since they're my favorite civ from that area that hasn't actually been in the series before. (Siam, Indonesia, and the Khmer all have, and I've never really had the love for Vietnam a lot of people do although I guess they'd be more marketable.)
That doesn't seem like an especially likely pairing with the especially likely Indonesia, however. Realistically there's no reason for me to deviate from the most bog-standard expectation, that being Indonesia (or the Majapahit, etc.) and a third leader that may be from SEA/Africa/Indonesia but might just be from an existing civilization that's dealt with them like China.
I think it will be a civ from SEA and a second leader for an african civ. Hatshepsut or Ramses or a Kongolese leader that allows Kongo to win a religious victory, which is long overdue imo (yay, no more annoying Mvemba). BUT it could also mean that we will get 2 civs in the next DLC, both from SEA (or SEA and Africa). We already saw a two-civ-DLC (Alexander and Cyrus), so that's that.
And I strongly suspect that GH will be a DLC-pack/bundle with all the DLCs since release at reduced price, say 30 bucks instead of the 40 you'll pay if you buy them seperately. Not everyone bought DDE (like me for example). That would make sense as DLC06 is expected to be the last DLC for the moment.
edit: Oh and what I really want to see in the next patch is multiplayer teams overhaul. I mean that they implemented it in the first place is nice, but it's kinda quirky... For example negotiating a peace deal needs improvement, since your teammembers don't get any of it. (you can't demand, say, 5GPT for yourself and 5GPT for your teammate in the same agreement, you can only demand for yourself and your teammate won't notice you made peace until he gets the popup-bubble on the right)
I agree with you, that is what they said after all in the announcement. Personally, I think it could be the SEA civ (probably Indonesia, I remember that here in the forums people were saying that it was Indonesia because they found it on the build of the game or something like that, I can't remember), and I think that it could be an alt leader for Egypt since I remember not a lot of people were pleased with Cleopatra, just like Catherine, so it could make sense that Egypt gets another leader.

That could be a possibilty plus we still have no idea what Isabella is for yet she has been on that list for a while which could make CivGH carrying something mysterious but I'm not sure if it'll be carrying Isabella with it but it would be great if it was.
With the Surprise of Australia, Nubia, and Alexander leading Macedon, I could see this curveball happening. Another possiblity on the table is it could be Indonesia and one of the two Trung Sisters for vietnam.

I'm going to agree with Gods and Kings here, if Egypt was to have an alternative leader he or she would have been included with Nubia. If the second leader was to be a second African leader Kongo could be a possibility but yet that too would have came with Nubia.
Now we have some evidence that points us towards Indonesia though we could still get a curveball and end up getting Vietnam, Khmer, or any other SEA nation. Remember Nubia was not on many peoples radar.
I also agree with @God of Kings I find it very unlikely that we would geographically go back to Africa after we just had Nubia and received no information about a second leader. Unless something went very wrong or they needed an extended amount of time to work on a second leader.
Does anyone have any idea what GH is or could possibly stand for?
I was thinking about it, and Vietnam might actually make sense alongside Indonesia. While most of Southeast Asia is strongly under the cultural influence of India, Vietnam was culturally (and politically) dominated by China. It also has several options for female leaders, like Trung Trac (I find it unlikely that we'd see two leaders on one screen) or Lady Trieu, which seems to be a popular draw for Firaxis. Conversely, though, it's been dominated by foreign powers for the bulk of its history.

It's a decent possibility. It could be like a silver edition with the base game and all DLC so far. They typically do a gold edition after the first expansion with all the DLC and the expansion.
In retrospect, it wouldn't be the base game + DLC because it's set up as a DLC rather than its own game app. But it could be all the DLC in one sales unit. Like an upgrade from base to DDE.
@Zaarin Firaxis added Australia, a nation-state that has been around for 116 years and a good chunk of their history is being under the British Empire and they are culturally similar to the U.S and England. Any notion that any of us may have about what factors influence a Civ being included in Civ6 flew out the window a while ago.
That said I do love Australia both in real life and in Civ.

Fair point, and given the choice I'd much rather see Vietnam included than Australia, especially since if they do go with Trung or Trieu we're talking about a relatively early civilization--which would be nice, given that Japan is Medieval and Korea will quite likely be Renaissance assuming they continue to represent Korea as the Joseon Kingdom (I'd love to see Seondeok of Silla myself, but...).
So I just noticed (though this may have been obvious): DLC06 has the main Windows, Mac, and Linux depots.
CIV GH does not - it only has the Windows depot. That increases the likelihood of it being the worldbuilder imho - dev tools are all Windows only. I guess it also leaves the possibility of being some sort of xplatform testing changes.
Granted, they could certainly create said depots, but for DLC06 I think they created them all at the same time. And without the Mac and Linux depots, it's unlikely to be anything DLC-related.

I would like to see Siam make a return as well. I wonder how they would be implemented in Civilization 6, would it be a city state related power like in Civ 5? It seems to me that city states are quite powerful this time around.
Like you, I'm not quite neutral, since my wife is Thai.
I must jump onto the bandwagon of wanting Siam to officially return for personal reasons as well, and I'd be fine with it having some sort of city state or influence ability. Although I do hope Firaxis will not inadvertently offend our government and making life difficult to play it.
I don't know of any major relations between Thailand and Indonesia that would make a scenario though.
