i played my turns and was aghast of our empire. a few points:
- you don't need an army of 50+ units. hyborem and rosier do a very good job together, have a few elite forces by their side and some more for a second stack and there you go.
we have a ton of useless troops that are not even used as defenders.
- think about your promotions. hyborem without march? all the troops without mobility? there is no real concept about the promotions in this game.
- civics. we have turn 270 and not researched guilds. we have not even adopted scholarship and city states which we are capable of.
instead of researching 600 beakers with -150g/turn we have now +150g/turn with 1600 beakers.
hyborem lives and dies with his capital. add all manes there and, for demons sake, adopt a civic that allows citizens to be something else then mere workers!
i have used a GP for a golden age to switch civics again - i wasted two turns as we had no GP available and i thought we would have had our golden age already.
- feudalism. very important tech as it enables vassal states. i think it would have been easy to vassalize flauros etc, making it a bit easier to advance.
- mardero. just another hero we could have build much earlier.
- war. we can have war with everybody. i thus declared on everybody.
we are at war with the barbarians. take care of the apocalyptic riders. the first one is near our holy city, two beasts of argares are deployed there to take care of him.
our attack forces are deployed to the west, the doviello are no threat. arendel has been killed, flauros is being mopped up by our vassal einon logos.
happy mop-up, and take care about our heroes not being killed by the riders.
