Do you like the new forum?

and seriously ı am r16 not R , the capital letter . When ı become referred with capital letters , this thread will surely become void ... Or something . ı hear it's going to be the default , does that mean the admins and stuff will offer the old format as an option ?
What are you referring to?

New Forum looks simply super-duper, twenty first century has definitely arrived in Civ Fanatics Forums. Way to go all you guys! (who had anything to do with it)

What are you referring to?
ı detest being referred to as R16 as the login presents the boxes to write the password , it's part of my persona after 8 to 10 years of use ; and throughly dislike the new format , which is surely related to the 8 years of presence in CFC .

It's called small caps. All letters are rendered as capitals but the actual capitals are larger. It's a font style basically.

Also, don't you think it's a little hypocritical to obsess over correct word formatting?

I can't figure out how to edit my user title.
1. Click on your username in the top right corner.

2. Scroll down to "Personal Details."

3. There's a field underneath your avatar called "Custom Title" where you can change your usertitle.

4. Scroll down to the bottom and click the "Save Changes" button.

HAHAHAHA THE THREAD TITLE SAYS "LIKE" HAHAHAHAHA

Also, there needs to be an Ancient CFC theme because CivFanatics should have Fanatics daggummit

There needs to be a Dark Blue theme so I can spend more than a few minutes here before my eyes start to hurt. This is too bright.

Turn your brightness down?

I don't like how on the main thread list, you have to scuffle your eye sockets all the way to the right to see when the last post was. Meanwhile the date and time when the thread was started, which doesn't matter at all, is right there for me to see right away, for some reason. It's very poorly thought out, you'd think the last post date would be something you can see right away, and the "thread started" date can be a bit off to the right, so you can look it up if you want to, or whatever.

Other than that it's a slight push away from the 90s in terms of the design and UI, which is welcome. And I was just on a long vacation, so this is a perfect time to welcome me to a big change. Otherwise I might have been whining about colour changes and such, but because I just got back from Japan it's like the old design was a part of the pre-Japan days, and this new design is a part of my new identity. It's very fitting, thanks for coordinating the upgrade to coincide with my return

edit: I also don't like it how when you click on a thread, it takes you to the 1st page and 1st post, as opposed to the last page or even the last page you were previously on. I realize that the little page numbers are there for me to click, but surely clicking on the thread title shouldn't default to the 1st page unless you have never been in the thread before.

Clicking on the thread title takes you to the last unread post, or to the first post if the thread is read.

Hmm it seems you are right! At least I've started noticing this behaviour on the last couple threads I clicked. But some of them seem to behave differently. I'm still jetlagged though so maybe I'm not paying close enough attention to which threads/posts I have read and which I haven't. But I'm 85% sure I've clicked on threads I myself have posted in, and it takes me to the very first post for some reason.

edit: Happened to me just now. Clicked into this thread, it took me to post #1. Was logged in and everything.

I've also just noticed that you said "takes you to the first post if the thread is read". So this is by design? Why is that functionality desired? Shouldn't it be taking you to the last post? Why do I want to see the first post, instead a re-fresher of the last couple posts in the thread? Doesn't make sense to me. When I'm clicking on a thread I want to see the last couple posts, even if I've read everything, I'm clicking in to get a refresher on what has been said last.

edit2: I also don't like much at all how if you want to see which thread you're in, you've got to scroll allllll the way to the top. There's breadcrumbs at the bottom - Home > Forums > Collosseum > Off-topic << perfect place to insert the thread title, so you can see where you are
