I am sick of my name, "general_kill". It was made almost four years ago when I was barely an adolescent and even then, I used this as a gaming tag and nothing more. I haven't been to any civ boards in months and this name has really lost its purpose. I'm just wondering if any of you share my discontent and want to change your names or if you think your name is the work of genius and should be engraved into a monument to you. Either way, I'm curious to hear your opinions and your stories behind your civ names.

taillesskangaru is misspelt, hard to remember, lack capital letters and is just plain weird. Still, I can't think of a better username. I could just hold a competition but I can't be bothered, so I'm staying with this one.

At this moment, I have a game of Civ II: ToT open in another window. My alter-ego, Valka D'Ur of the Stygians, is about to kick the Humans into oblivion. And it's only the year 2300 First Age (equiv. 2300 BC)! :D

Therefore, my CFC name is still appropriate, and I have no wish to change it. Mind you, I should look into changing it at another forum... Valka D'Ur is a bit too warlike for a poetry forum!

I'm perfectly content with this nom de plume/guerre. :)

I've been El_Machinae on the internet for quite awhile, I don't think it should change. The underscore (_) is from the times when usernames couldn't have spaces.

I wouldn't mind a change to Cata the smthing or Smthing_Cata ; but i guess Heretic is ok since that's what i usually choose as my username on the internet. :)
Besides, ppl here know me as Heretic. :D

'Catharsis' actually stems from the robot opponent in a Robot Wars PS2 game I have, 'Katharsis'. I used it for playing Tank Ball (multiplayer Internet game), and was overjoyed when I found out what it actually meant.

I'm just getting used to this one. Everybody still calls me Matt anyways...its not like changing my name again will matter.
