Liberal Democracts seem most in line with my views. Both nationally and on the European level.

After a bit of reading I discovered that a current independent MEP (Marian Harkin) here is a member of the same grouping (ALDE) of the party that I used to vote for so she is getting my vote.

I demand to know why the Pirates are not on the list.

I vote for the Social Liberal party, which is a part of the ALDE group. I have a lot of sympathy for the Social Democrats though.

well, i'd love to vote but somehow my human rights have been overruled in this case as i am classed as being less intelligent than a daily express reader.

I don't really have a view. I like the UKIP people, but am more than a little unconvinced that isolationsim works anymore.

I'll vote for VLD, member of the ALDE.

There's not a lot of interest for the European elections are there are regional elections too. There'll be an interesting battle between Verhofstadt and Dehaene though (two former prime ministres). I don't think their view on Europe is very different, so it's not that important I guess...

PES - (Party of European Socialists) - Center-Left/Social Democrats

Don't know who to vote for yet though. I'll probably vote for #1 on the list, but I might be tempted to vote on the person with the most awesome name.

I'll probably vote CD&V, which is a member of the European People's Party, but I still have to do some research this week...
I'm not going to vote for Jean-Luc Dehaene though, but someone else on the list, like Ivo Belet.

Well i cannot be bothered to vote, i am quite unpolitical :)
And you Greeks used to be so good at democracy...

The EP have a lot more power than I think you imagine. You really should vote.

I'm voting Liberal Democrat.

They are part of ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe).

D66 who are part of the ALDE. Why? I believe that many things can be better organised through the EU if done right and these people most fit my view of what's 'right'.

After much deliberation, I chose to vote for a smaller party because I know its candidates and they have my respect. I am disgusted by the big parties' lack of European focus in their campaign, they are simply using these EP elections as a warm-up round for the planned early elections in October this year. Screw them.

The party I am going to vote for is affiliated with EPP-ED I believe.

Lib I guess.

Whats wird is that apart from a couple of fliers in the letterbox I havnt heard a thing about these elections. I saw one poster in a window in a different town. No-one's knocked on the door. No campaigning on the radio. I can see that MEP's have too many constituents to visit every house as the candidates for a parliamentary seat try to but there is simply no campaigning of any kind from any party.

I´m not completely sure yet. Probably the EFA/Greens or the Pirates. And if I can´t decide at all, I´ll vote for
the RENTER (Retiree-Party) :D.

Social Democrat, but tbh without being really knowledgable on their european policies in comparison with the alternatives.
