Fall From Heaven NES

OOC: That was inspiring IC:
From Vyra Tyrs, Sorceress Queen

To the Great Houses
Consider the New Crown Duty passed. The Noble Council may begin having sessions to argue for their privileges at their leisure, as long as their troops are put under the control of the Crown. I would also request that they decide on rights for the peasantry, it is only fitting.

To the Great House Aratheon and Archduchy of Five Towers
I will give you 15 000 on the condition that you use at least 5 000 of it to improve the condition of your provinces and peasantry.

Welcome back to the fold.

To Queen Lydia, of the Summer Court.

Both myself and our people grow sick of this fighting in our own lands. I desire no more Elven blood be shed on this matter, but with the support of the Great Houses my forces are more than enough to crush you. The victory will be empty though, and another like you will rise again. I need you to surrender graciously so that we can resolve this in a civilized manner. Perhaps a dual monarchy can be arranged; I do not think that a seasonal governance will work in this day and age. I worry that you are influenced by outside forces, and I would not have the Elven race as a whole put on the strings of foreign nations.

Here are some conditions. I would control foreign affairs and military matters, though I would accept advisement. You would be made a substantial part of the Noble Council, you and half the council could veto my decisions, or 3/4 of the council. We would both decide on internal affairs. You would be the Queen of the Light Elves, I of the Dark. Together all elves would once again be under one house.

You would have to relinquish command of your soldiers to me, and I would use them to remove the Calabim from the Losfajar lands. I assume that the lands you settled in your flight will be joining the rest of ours. You may keep the Fawns as your personal guard, that seems fitting for the Queen of Summer.

Hey Kol, now who's forcing others to their views. Sounds a little hypocritical if you ask me.:p

To The Svartalfar:

This is an outrage! We attacked the Ljosalfar court at the request of Vyra Tyrs and I have the letter to prove it!

Vyra Tyrs said:
With Lydia's troops in my lands, you should move your troops into Zwir and Razor forests, removing any of Lydia's forces you encounter. There shouldn't be much in your way, as most of her troops are up north. After they take the south lands, have them move to Darkgate and hold that border, with my troops they will prevent the Summer forces from moving back South.

We do not need to be removed, and will gladly leave your stinking compost heap of a forest as soon as you have restored stability in the region, as per our agreement. We are disgusted by this betrayal.

As Erebus can clearly see, Tyrs requested me to march up to Dark Gate. However, I suspected he would not act as our agreement and send no troops himself, so I entered only the Southern Forest, at the expense of valuable Calabim lives.

A light of hope shines upon us, as you are willing to negotiate. Expect our envoys soon. There are still matters of slavery and such.

Update naturally won't come today, but if I get orders in next two days, I can update now and then next Sunday we are back in regular schedule :)

There was interest in Luchuirp mud golems.

Multiple your number of cities by 10. That is price for 10% building cost reduction due to mud golems. That is raw cost for producing them - Luchuirp have right to request extra gold to earn themselves profit.

Limit on this reduction is currently at 10%, that may increase later.

To: Nations of Erebus
From: Calabim

We are interested in buying the technology of priesthood this turn. We will be happy to trade with another nation for a reasonable offer, or to do a joint research effort to research the technology.

Please make your offers.

Question, is this the price per city or for the whole nation?

10% building reduction price

I updated the first post with Erebus map without provinces, and without cities... It looks fancy ;)

End of Turn 13
Start of Turn 14
[snip…]
Domestically Kuriotate and Khazad start to face production shortages, as men are wielding swords instead of plugs and forges craft weapons instead of tools. Kuriotates face bigger problem as they seriously lack their Spices from Nagyr Groove.

Beginning of Turn 8

Amurite Refugees seek shelter in Kuriotate lands

Terrified by the war and starvation in their homeland, and lured by the tales of prosperity, many Amurite citizens fled to Kuriotate cities. Many of them are potent mages.

Amurites believe in the sanctity of mortal lives, whether they be human, dwarven or elven and as such, cannot stand idly by as our fellow men and women starve to death or while civilians become the unexpected and accidental victims of terror and war.

In keeping with the tradition of assistance that the Kuriotates had previously provided to Amurite refugees during the Amurite civil war, the Amurites hereby extend the hand of friendship to the Kuriotate peoples.

To the Kuriotates:
We offer our support to your people. Our people (but no military units) will be making a pilgrimage to the Kuriotates land to pick up any refugees wanting to escape war and famine in Kuriotates land. We will also be providing non-military assistance in the form of plow animals, livestock, seeds etc (worth 25 gold). We hope that this assistance can save lives and prevent famine. OOC: We hope that this will reduce the ‘war recovery’ effects you may suffer as a consequence of this continued war and are willing to invest financially in your nation’s recovery.

To the Hippus, Kazad and Lanun:
Will you be willing to accept a delegation of non-armed units travelling north to the Kuriotates lands and returning with any refugees that wish to escape death and war? We will allow them to only travel with what they can carry on their backs such that the treasures of the Kuriotates a) don’t leave Kuriotates lands and b) are still accessible to you should you wish to press your attack on the Kuriotates.

In this way we hope to provide humanitarian assistance to our fellow Erubusian men and women without getting involved in the war and without making enemies of any of the nations involved therein.

If all four nations agree to this plan we will be conducting it. Please respond publicly (OOC: on this forum).

To any outsiders:
An attack on this humanitarian mission will be considered an act of war and the perpetrators will suffer at the hands of our most capable armies, both magical and mundane.

Kuriotate destabilize Khazad

Kuriotate send their emissaries to every Khazad city, claiming that Khazad betray the way of Kilmorph, in this war and ignorance to profit. Some citizens tend to believe this, as there was crisis in the government before and Khazad priests are even eager to agitate the crowd in attempt to get more power and influence. Only city that was not effected is the capital, where guards quickly threw into dungeon two Kuriotate emissaries, eighteen dwarves that started to throw rocks at the Golddust Palace, and three dissident priests. They are awaiting their punishment.
Dissident dwarves' belongings will be taken away and they will spend a long time in the dungeon. Since they think our rulers ignore profit, we'll make a profit on their back. They should think it's fair, by their own standards.
Thethree dissident priests are convicted of treason. Not only they allied with enemy (Kuriotate) agents, but they also failed to remember that Kilmorph herself blesses the Paramanders and therefore understands that war is sometimes needed before you can trade. Religious authorities are meeting with our First Consul to decide what punishment and atonement they will fare.

From Hippus

May our good relations continue, no Amurite man will be considered enemy where our riders ride.

Nor, we hope, shall any unarmed refugees?

From High Captain Karimir,
To Rodrick Belissam of the Amurites:

Let it not be said that the Lanun are not chivalrous. Non-military Amurite groups shall not be harmed by Lanun troops, if I can help it.

That being said, I cannot say I endorse this Amurite involvement in the conflict. This action by your government could easily allow for further support to the Kuriotate nation, which would be taken very ill by me an mine.
