As we all know Oracle is just one turn away. We can't lose it can we.
Well before I get to that, I think about whether to stall Beijing or let it grow. If I grow then I need to whip a forge or library, if I stall I can get Pyramids out quicker. Forge will get Pyramids out quicker as well so decide to grow and 2 whip the forge into Pyramids.
As for the Oracle, scarily the AI thinks as we do.
Metal Casing it is, forge started in capital.
Mathematics was already selected for research so leave it.
Hate to whip without granary but the forge is 2-pop whipped when Beijing grew unhappy.
I pre-chop the grassland hill for after Mathematics comes.
I finish here, played about 20 (doesn't take long does it!).
Forgot to get a screenie but on the last turn Mathematics came in as well as
Assume we're going for representation (employ an engineer then scientist after library?). Haven't changed civics at all.
Library or workboat or granary would be good but again no hammers invested. Actually if we're going representation, granary then workboat then library would let us grow quicker.
Actually after we do all the above, we may have copper on line for quick Colossus build.
As for research, no beakers invested, but I would have thought Sailing (lighthouse = growth) or Code of Laws (religion and on the way to CS).
Remember we can mine the second grass hill at any stage (1 turn left).
Here's the capital. Working the spice for added production and a bit of commerce but may want to change to a 2F1P square for quicker growth.
For what it is worth, I think Sailing next research and granary next build.
