Is Donald J. Trump really a Billionaire?

He is Donald J Trump, Billionaire. He owns a mansion and a yacht.

Give voters viable voting options and they won't vote for idiots like Trump. People are rebelling because each election it's always the same people running
As we should expect it to be in a mature democracy that has a defined political ladder that weeds out all but champion contenders.

They certainly are winners.

I wonder if future elections are going to keep being establishment stars with their suspiciously diametric celebrity outsiders running insurgency campaigns, and we'll measure the strength of our democracy as "should we keep going or is this guy the show stopper?"

Occasionally a grass roots candidate will pop up like a breath of fresh air. They will be part of the party establishment's carefully orchestrated viral marketing campaign and actually an underplayed, over talented bencher they were hiding to the last second. We'll have a Disney factory full of them, assuring us younger pros and always two or three at a time so that we have no shortage of Justins and Britneys or whoever is current.

Eventually some of them, especially the almost A-listers, will crack under pressure as they reach retirement age at 45, revealing industry abuses and the unfortunate plight of future machine politicians.

if the Democratic National Committee keeps working hard to torpedo outsiders in the primaries in favor of, and in collusion with, the establishment's chosen ones then, yes, that is where we are headed.

I really suspect that the DNC has learned their lesson. We'll see with Michelle. But, gosh, we need an amendment to prevent dynasties.

Uh... Trump and Clinton pretty much dominated their primaries. We can talk about wanting better candidates or the selection process but at the end of the day, it's not like Rubio and Bernie actually got more votes and got sideswiped. Trump and Hillary had the support of more Americans. Each party got the candidate they wanted.*

*Sort of. I know Trump didn't have a majority, but whatever.

Trump is a number of B words, with billionaire being the least likely. Bankrupt has been confirmed.

Bonehead? Bozo? Boob? Bigot? Baiter?

Buffoon? Boor? Bore? Blowhard?

If Donald Trump isn't a billionaire, then he certainly comes very close to one: You can't possibly have buildings built named after you and get away with it when they turn out as unprofitable or utterly sketchy. He nevertheless managed to waste most of his father's fortunes. It won't be long before he ceases to be one.

Suspect Donald Trump witholds his tax returns for covering up tax evasion, or something.
