Neither one of them was particularly interesting, and both suffer from ridiculous amounts of overexposure.
 
He wasn't Russian, therefore no.
He didn't have his personal pet bear too, like any good Russian does.
 
I thought the Simpsons invented the Beatles softdrinks. That would've been better :(
 
Anyway. There is, perhaps, a serious point behind the OP.

So you've got these two guys, right?

One highly influential in possibly one of the greatest failed social experiments in human history.

(And the other is Lenin.)

The other was a huge world-wide celebrity phenomenon. (Though possibly not in China.)

Will either of them have had a lasting influence? Or will we say in 100 years time, "Who, WTH"?

And just how different were their essential messages in the end?
