i wannna set the record straight here for those north of the border and elsewhere that think all people from New Jersey are devils fans. it's a myth we hate the devils in south jersey most hockey fans south of trenton and toms river root for philadelphia teams (primarily, at least from a geographic pov). yeah, there are devils fans in south jersey. some but not many. they are likely vestiges from the days of scott stevens and claude lemieux. flyers came first, too so this is likely the reason most of south jersey roots for the flyers and not the devils. can't speak for north jersey but i know that the rangers are probably ahead of the devils in the fandom pecking order (it's close though in north jersey, i would imagine, especially when the devils were winning cups).

lastly, many in south jersey have always scoffed at a team from north jersey naming themselves after the mythical Jersey Devil whose real life family (colonial era) hails from southern NJ (Galloway, NJ to be precise, a stone's throw from where i live).

Its not that I think you're lieing, as I do trust you enough to think you are telling the truth. I'm just worried that if I start making exceptions for people it will lead to a Pandora's box type situation of people trying to get in late picks.

And yes, you're score will remain. I always keep the scores of everyone who makes even one guess.

I like this guy. I wonder how he will solve Gomez's case. Too bad i didn't see this thread much earlier. I had choose Pittsburgh and Preds for the finals but i guess i'm already half wrong
