None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

now I have a good question: anyone believe everything is symmetrically balanced? I don't.

Based on LOTR mafia, I'd say each town has one vig, one doc (possibly two), MAYBE cop, and probably one special role. The cults both probably have 2 guys, either a killer and converter, or a killer/converter and one special. They might have three but that seems overkill for two cults in this game.

I see no reason for this game to not be mostly symmetrically balanced because symmetry is easier.

ATPG why are you claiming both of last night's attackers are vigilantes? How on earth is Emperor Palpatine supposed to be a vigilante?

Well, recalling that Zack is some kind of imperial admiral, and that it makes sense for both towns to have a vigilante for game balancing reasons, it seems like a reasonable statement.

I'm not happy with anyone besides me, but I am happy with some people getting lynched. Double A is one of them.

I also do want to point out the distinction between starting a war and starting a knowledge bomb. Considering Aragorn tried to kill a LOTR townie last night (it seems), things need to get organised first.

You're making an assumption there. I didn't see anything that suggested he tried to kill a LOTR townie last night. Maybe you and the target are LOTR cult?

People want to pretend a little symbiotic relation or Cold war relation between LOTR and Star Wars town would exist when both sides run around with their heads cut off. See Takhisis above, happy to go for double A and happy to go for me, for no reasons actually specified anywhere.

That's indicative of a town Takhisis moreso of anything. Though it will be easier for cultists to hide as they can hunt OTHER cultists in thread.

now I have a good question: anyone believe everything is symmetrically balanced? I don't. I also doubt its symmetric.

We're not lynching Double A today. He's showing obvious townie thoughts in thread.

At first it sounded as if you had a good case on Double A. Then it turns out you made it up. What am I supposed to do, keep my vote on him? We still have a pizzawagon to counter.

Explain.

"There are no vanilla townies; every player has, at the very least, a unique character and one ability to start out the game."

that's my basic thought. I have other thoughts too, though less substantiated (more conjecture)

and, of course, as many of you should know, people can have multiple abilities.

All the abilities could be the same, but the abilities can be distributed differently.

There are many choices to make in this game. Some people are more important than others.

unvote: vote: Kennigit. My case on TBK was based on TBK being a warmonger, and Kennigit seems to be the same. Lynch all the war mongers, give peace a (temporary) chance while we find cultists!

If we're jumping the double A wagon, due to faulty intel thenunvote: Vote: Nintz
His summary smells damn fishy to me, like something scum would write.

and how do you know so much about AA's relative importance?

Okay, so it's not symmetrical, aside from the doctors, vigs, and possible cops (I know Zack doesn't like cops a whole bunch - if they exist, they probably have limited powers or uses). What's your point? It seems to me like you brought it up so we would have something other than you to discuss.

Interesting, yes, but I don't see how coming to the realization that everyone has a power (like they do in basically all your large games) actually affects anything at all.

Hush! As an Imperial Admiral, Zack is clearly under the command of Palpatine.

Kennigit, you still haven't explained your ludicrous behaviour.

I sure hope Legolas didn't protect random cultist #3 without info. It also, in my mind, confirms that people don't know entirely who each other are.

Kennigit, you either know a lot more than we do (which is suspicious) or you need to share some of the dope with us, man.

Wait Cami hosted LOTR. Derp. Still, Star Wars had a bunch of small abilities, and that and LOTR are the games this one is based off of.

So, SpockFederation, do you have anything to defend yourself with? At least come out with the whole of it.

So much misinformation in one post... Looking like it's deliberate.
