None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

Yes, this is a Day One. Well… :cringe:

x-post edit: lynching a (purported) power role might be better than some of the stupid lynches proposed today. Please le tit be Kennigit. ;)

I'm undecided about that.

a petit dejeuner?

I'm afraid Kennigit will be held quite close to my bosom regardless of who the vote ends up today. He's not the guy.

What if you reveal him and leave his fate to the cults? If he's town, then either neither or both of them will want him dead (not like we care either way), and if he's not, then only one will go in for the kill, thereby using one of their night actions.

So here we go with the magic bags.

Susceptibility scanner guy now says he can ALSO make people immune to conversion.

This one, I don't even buy. But I'm passing it along to you, in case it means anything.

In my mind, you don't even bother scanning people. You just make everyone immune to conversion instead. Why waste time scanning them?

I doubt you can do both at once, so I wouldn't even scan anyone I'd just make everyone I touch immune and hope none of them were already cult.

Rule 1: don't put all eggs in 1 basket.

You might as well reveal him. He's cult, that's a ridiculous claim.

Does seem like a bit of rubbish. I agree with BL such a lynch can provide a lot of information about the cults early on here, or we could know if the other side of the town has one as well.

Issue is that leaves our fate to the decisions of those trying to defeat us. You cannot expect the scums to assist you. If at all possible they will do whatever it takes to waste our lynches and our time.

Reveal him, that sounds dodgy as all hell.

Yeah, that really seems like a fishy *please don't reveal me so I die* kinda message. Unless he was lying to you to begin with. You're the one that got the messages, what's you're take on them pizza? Truth first time, or second? (Somewhat) Secretive townie, or instead a panicking cultist?

Or maybe something else alltogether?

Either way, this seems like the most legitimate lead we have and the most likely to get my vote atm.

My point was if this guy's cult, the other cult will murder him to stunt their rival.

Which actually helps the towns as well. Unless the other cult recognizes this and would choose to ignore him.

I agree with BL. Before the "immune to conversion" bit was revealed, I was dubious, since making a town susceptibility scanner sounds like something Zack would do, but the "make people immune to conversion" bit is very unlikely, especially if a large number of people are incorruptible at start (very hard for the cult, easy for the town to make networks of immune people). Additionally, if you have such a role, you DON'T roleclaim it to the first person who asks. In these games, the first person who asks might be the night 1 cultist and for a role like that, the risks in being revealed are way to high. Hence, his "reveal" shows that he was probably attempting an infiltration.

Just reveal and lynch. No mind games, no other night for him to do anything. Let's shut this down, right now.
