Industrial zone distance bonus of 6 hexes. Is this to another city center or other industrial zone? Or is it to closest city or industrial zone.

6 tiles from the Industrial Zone or Entertainment district that has the Factory, Power Plant, Zoo or Stadium (as the case may be) to the city center of neighboring cities. And you do have to count tiles -- there is no focus option for regional effects.

6 tiles between them, unless you are suzerain of Toronto (+3 tiles to all Factories, Powerplants, Zoos and Stadiums) or use Nikola Tesla (+2 production to an IZ buildings and +3 tiles for that IZ).

Dunno if they work with each other, though.

Are the allowable religions tied to the map size or the number of players? I tend to always delete a few AI players to give myself some room (opponents are always right on top of each other I find). But I've had some games where damn near everyone got a religion... is that intended?

Tied to map size -- default number of civs on the map divided by two, and add one. So, for Standard map (default 8 civs) the max number of religions is 5 (8/4 + 1). If you were to drop the number of AI civs to, e.g., 5 on a Standard map, every civ would be assured a religion (as long as they get a Great Prophet before the Industrial Era - there are no Industrial or later Era Great Prophets).

Another question... In my most recent game, I picked random for the amount of water, temperature, age, most of those types of questions. Is there a way to know now what was picked for each?

1. Is there a place somewhere that I can see exactly how much Culture, Science etc, I've accumulated? Or is the only transparency my rate of production, and how much has been applied to my current "product"?

2. Am I missing a screen somewhere that breaks down the aggregate bonuses and penalties for certain metrics?

For example, great person accumulation...I can't seem to find any screen that tells me exactly where +4.5 Great person points, for example, are coming from. I had to dig through countless screens and mentally add all the bonuses together. Do I not have tooltips enabled or something? Is there a screen I'm not finding?

This is true of other rates as well, GPP is just the first one I thought of...

There seems to be a LOT of information that should be available is simply isn't. Perhaps they will come in future patches or at least a mod.

India just finished Stonehenge when I was about 2 turns from the same... what happened to all the hammers that went into MY Stonehenge?

You lost them.

:nono: This is Civ6, not Civ5. You get no compensation for losing a wonder race.

quick question I should probably already know but I don't.

Is there a screen to tell where wonders have been built and in which city?

Another question, for some reason I can't make internal trade routes. What's going on there?

No there isn't, you can't even click on the "So-and-So has built the <Name> Wonder" info bubble have the camera center on it.

Yet another info screen we do not get.

I don't think there was one in Civ V too.

ABout the internal trade route thing, either you exhausted your trade routes from that city to your other cities, or your limit was brought down (changed government from Merchant Republic, lost suzerainty of Carthage etc).

Is there any reason to make religious units like apostles if you haven't founded a religion yourself?

Also, is there basically no intermediary benefits to going for a religious victory?

I mean, for a domination victory you get the benefits of more and more land as you progress. For a cultural victory you go through that tech tree faster. For science you go through the regular tech tree faster. For religious victory you... ???

Question.. the colosseum has to be built next to an entertainment district... does the district have to have been built by the same city building the colosseum?

So if London builds the entertainment District in its third ring, then can Newcastle build the Colosseum in ITS third ring right next to the district? (see image in link)

Yep, Newcastle can build it instead of London. :)

You can build apostles from other religions to defend against a religious victory without starting a war. It can be useful if you wiped out a Civ that founded a religion, since they can't win anymore.

About the intermediary benefits, you can choose beliefs that scale with number of cities or population, such as Tithe or Church Property, or benefits you even in enemy lands, like Crusade.

Well all the gossip is stored under gossip under each civilization's menu. But you'd have to go through each civilization (in my case 10) and hope to spot it. And the gossip only goes back so many turns I believe. Hardly a solution. And you can manually look for the wonder by scanning the map. But that is hardly a solution as well. As fog of war makes things really difficult to spot. That's why having this information stored somewhere would be convenient.

You won't be able to build one unless you have a city with a shrine and temple and an AI spreads his/her religion to that city. You may want to do it if you want the benefits of said religion and spread the religion to more of your cities. Like say being able to build Wats or Meeting Houses. Or possibly to prevent another AI from attaining a religious victory. Those are the only reasons I can think of to build apostles not of your religion. I would never do it, however.

For religious victory you... ???

Well religion does have its benefits depending on what benefits you choose when founding a religion and when enhancing a religion. I sometimes do +2 gold for each city following this religion on standard sized maps (I don't play anything bigger than standard). So spreading the religion to AI cities should net you more gold. There are other things you can select to get you benefits like +100 gold when first converting a city. +1 gold for every 4 followers of your religion. It's not a lot, but it's something.

Is there anything you can do when the AI uses spies for industrial sabotage and you discover them but dont capture the spy? Like declaring war?
