I recommend a flamethrower.

Rant: horrible weather, horrible rains and floods!

The smoke made my eyes burn and my clothes stink.

My dad is really ill with some kind of virus :(

Which means the weekend's festivities have been cancelled :(

Which means I might as well cancel my day off and go into work tomorrow, since I have nothing better to do :(

Edit:

Thanks Synsensa :)

It was in relation to this though: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=12013464&postcount=173

Well never mind, hopefully we will all get together at Christmas or New Year.

Chin up, pal. You can have Thanksgiving dinner any day of the week once he's feeling better. It not being on the weekend doesn't change how important the time is. :)

I can't be the only person who hates checking their email?

That moment when you feel like you're invisible to people you thought were friends.

Been there, done that, got the crappy t-shirt, been back several more times. And it sucks like hell.

It took me half an hour to get the blood tests done. For some reason today I did not want to give blood, but eventually it happened. Normally it only takes a few minutes. Currently I have four small band aids on me as all the attempts to get blood.

Rant: Sigh. More and more, screenshots I make with my space software look anthropomorphic in nature, especially when zoomed out. :( :wallbash: :suicide:

I blame the funny pics threads in H&J for forever ruining my subconscious with their overloads of inanimate-object-smiley-faces. *shakes fist*

No wonder why I always felt justified in getting [pissed] off when such pics were posted to Funny Pics.

This happens to me sometimes, too. It's usually due to an error on the part of the lab tech/nurse. On the occasions I've had a physician take the blood, he never misses.

You're not. I have a near phobia of checking my email for some reason.

I used to be really bad about opening snail mail, but a few missed bills corrected that problem. I always had the money to pay them, I just couldn't bring myself to open letters, period.

Stupid I know, but endlessly frustrating.

This happens to me too sometimes, especially after I e-mail someone and I'm expecting a response.

It was the first time ever I have had this problem. It might happen more often now that I am on dialysis.

You've suffered permanent kidney failure? :(

I don't think he's the only CFC'er with it and certainly won't be the last, as the only kidney I was born with is also declining. Rapidly. :(
