Guess what you get for getting top of French in your year group?

A dictionary. Exactly like the one I already own.

Give the other one to your s/o…

Rant of my own. I've been complaining of eight million hectares flooded. It's closer to 14. :suicide:

Second rant: I don't have an s/o (assuming that's what I think it is) to give it to.

I just watched the first presidential debate. I'm so sick of both of their voices now. I'm to the point I don't even care who wins on Tuesday, I just want it all to be over. They both talked for a long time and said virtually nothing. They did better at showing their personal views than they did in the other two debates I watched, but they still spent IMO too much time talking about the other person and not enough time talking about themselves. Also, the moderator was awful. He let both of them walk all over him and ended up having to omit a section of the debate because they used up too much time. He also looked like he was about to fall asleep half the time he was on camera. Overall, I'm just thankful that this all will be over this time next week. I'm not convinced either of them will be effective leaders, but in the long run I doubt who wins will make much difference.

In reality, my opinion on all this really doesn't even matter. I'm too young to vote (by about six months :( ) so I can get away not making a decision who I support. But even if I could/did vote, it wouldn't matter. Even if I did vote for Obama, it wouldn't change the fact that all of Tennessee's electoral votes would go towards Romney. Since I don't live in one of the seven states that matter, both candidates have decided that it's not worth their time to focus on this part of the country. The sooner America gets rid of the electoral college, the better in my opion. [/politics rant]

It's probably on the Mun.

Rant: heat. Danger of dehydration.

There's a liquid called water that I've heard does wonders in such cases. :p

"your schedule doesn't work out with what we're looking for"

the heck

i'm available on weekends

weekends are your busiest time

put two and two together pal

Sorry, azza's from a mildly civilised country.

I'm fairly sure people who call it 'the race that stops the nation' overestimate the popularity of horse racing (something the vast majority of people don't care about every other day of the year).

How does sweer potatoes translate into casserole?

It's not about horse racing, it's about gambling.

The two're separate?

Rant: stupid continuing heatwave.

I just hate my sleep schedule---or rather the feeling of sleepiness regardless of how much I sleep. On generic days when I don't have much or any work to do (say a random tuesday night with nothing particular to do, or like a friday/saturday/sunday night) my body is all fine and dandy and can stay up late. But, I go to bed early still.

Then trying to do even the slightest bit of studying or homework on other nights near 8 pm and bam! wall of tiredness I've never seen before and exhaustion by like 9:30.

why does it want to be perfectly awake at midnight if I don't have important stuff to do but tired instantly otherwise?
