now this product doesn't effect me in any way, but I got some cleaning supplies that has a little checklist " [X] No Harsh Chemical [X]No harsh Fumes [X] No alcohol [X] No Dyes" -> "ingredients: purified water, alcohol derived from corn, ..."

I may be misunderstanding (and apparently white vinegar is from alcohol derived from corn, but remove alcohol), and I don't know my cleaning products, but why does the world work like this? Where one thing gets advertised that is immediately not true (as far as I understand it)?

I'm also sure "purified" water is just a marketing ploy as well, since purified just means it goes through the basic industrial process that all water goes through (which also is the bottle water industry, that literally just takes the same line of water as what goes into soda and all and just sells the water by itself). But I'm fine with that.

Humans. I don't get them and their marketing schemes. And it probably has some technical basis to it (trying to say "oh no rubbing alcohol!" specific chemical component, unlike straight up lies that also cost me 5 USD in disbelief *Edit* actually money loss described later on here

I don't know of any Washington River near here, but there's probably at least one somewhere. Dude has a million things named after him.

And there is a Lake Washington that seperates the rich guys in Bellevue and Medina from the commoners in the rest of Seattle. :p

I'm gating you to a black hole.

Ever noticed how when they'd land on some alien's world, they'd refuse to give up their weapons, but every time an alien came to Earth they'd be disarmed at gunpoint?

Hypocrites!

And 90% of the universe is Canadian forests suspiciously absent of black bears. What did they do with the bears...

The bears? According to the Second Amendment, they were armed.

Oh, the bears were put in intimidation duty, keeping the US Hollywood unions from showing their faces in BC.

The show had a real edge when it first started out.

Parasites that killed you if removed.
Opening the stargate and shoving a nuke through in anger.
Earth under orbital bombardment.
General Hammond from Texas rolling in like a Boss.

By the end, they were all 80 years old sitting around a table being old.
After a 10 season run, they only had to do a little makeup for that fitting series finale.

Spoiler :
I am FURIOUS.

I worked my ass off on an annotated bibliography. Thought I did everything my prof asked. Found what few relevant articles there are on an incredibly arcane and appallingly dull topic I was more or less forced to choose. Turned it in... and got a 1/100. A ONE. That's an insult. What the hell could possibly justify that? Yes, it has problems, but a ONE?! I had the required number of sources, I summarized them, etc. I'd be better off skipping class and spending my time on other activities. If he doesn't let me redo everything, I'm going to fail the course, lose scholarships, and maybe drop out of college, since I have to maintain a high GPA to get scholarships. I have NEVER had this problem with any annotated bib before, and I've never had such a harsh professor.

If a bear rode up to me on a horse, got off, and mauled me, I'd certainly sue Canada.

A violation of the Weaponized Bear Treaty of 1871 is a very serious matter.

I'd remind you that Russia was never a signatory to the treaty so most likely they would be the source of the attack.

I never got an A in an English class. Wouldn't bow down and write like they demanded.

Unlike say math, their grading is subjective, arbitrary, and vindictive.

Write a 3 page report on why diversity is important yet?

I certainly sympathize with anyone who can read and write well and still get clobbered.

Ivan always was borderline insane. Can't they see how something like that could get out of control?!

It's practically halfway to Planet of the Apes already. Only bears...
