Three rants:

1. I remember seeing a trailer for a The Legend of Zelda movie. Looked it up, turns out the whole thing's fake.

2. Took me THIS long to find out.

3. Everyone already knows it's fake. I"m always the last to know. I *hate* having an "eureka" moment only to find out it's already widely known.

Apple makes the crappiest headphones ever made.

It's less than a week since I got them (with my iTouch) and one of them sounds tinny already (one of the thin parts lost its glue and the sounds makes it vibrate). However, these poorly-made pieces of junk that act like they're made in Hong Kong cost $30. I have gotten some that have lasted a month for $10.

hmm. My iPod headphones have worked pretty well, they outlasted the supposedly "better" ones that I bought, the only problem was when I put them into my comp and sound only came out of the left ear. That's fixed now too, though.

This really is a small village.

I was telling a story at work about complaining about a mistake on a mailing list from a local newspaper group that left all the addresses visible in the to field and how I got an apology from the CEO.

Person 1 in the group - Was it such and such? He used to work in this department from around 95 to 02.
Person 2 - And he is my wife's cousin.

My sister's best friend is my Drama teacher's rabbi's daughter.

Mine are excellent (I've even dropped one in my tea and it still works). The only complaint I have is that all the rubber bits are starting to come off and I even removed the one around the male pin because it was annoying me.

I'm sorry to hear that Bill, my dog that I had for most of my life died last December so I know how you must feel.

Mine don't do this, but lower sounds are played only by one ear and higher sounds are played only by the other, though sounds in the middle are played by both.

That sucks. It's the only serious rant in the midst of hundreds of angsty rants.
