RANDOM RAVES : Kick it up a notch! (term is over!)

After playing Two Worlds for a bit, getting totally trounced, and then nearly ragequitting I decided to try again on the easy level, and that made a world of difference. The game actually became fun! That may have been because I got an absurdly lucky drop early in the game (a mace that did 34-76 damage at a time when the sword I had last time did only 7-15 damage), but regardless, the game was fun and an absolute blast. I wouldn't pay retail for the game (picked it up on steam sale) due to an absolutely crap tutorial, bargain basement voice acting, and facial animations from hell, as a diversion from Bethesda style open world games (reviewers described it as a hybrid between Oblivion and Diablo) there isn't much wrong with it.
Just start the game on easy or hope you get a ridiculous weapon drop early game.

Well the main thing I've working (which is at 3200 words at the moment) isn't nearly publishable yet. Not to mention it's ridden with profanity and other R-rated stuff.

I did publish a 1600 word story I wrote for a RPG I'm in.

Rave: My GF put out her newspapr this month. Good stuff. As much as my ego would like her to pine for me, nice to know we get a lot of work done in the 11 months of the year we are apart.
