You know those high seats there are in beaches for the guys who watch that nobody drowns and all? I'm sitting on one and looking at the sea just now, past midnight, and its so beautiful, and there is the softest breeze, and I just want to run into the sea and play in it, but I qont because of these people fishing either side of me. Its still awesome.

You came too late. I am dead already. The shark ate me and its my ghost typing this.

Hmmm, Angry Birds gummi figures. :yumyum:

@RT: That's it. *ominous Latinoid chanting + organ music*

That feeling you get when something isn't supposed to work, but then it actually does. In my case, it's a computer at my grandmother's house that hasn't worked since January :p

Unrelated, military funerals are beautiful.

Happy Indian Independence Day!

Rave: Because it's a national holiday, it's a lot less chaotic outside, and in fact kind of peaceful. In the middle of a major city.

Secured a supervisor for a research course and did well on two exams. Such a productive day.

It's great waking up at 6 AM on the last corner of a corridor on the ship after less than 3 hours of sleeping like a hobo, packed with three friends on that place just to keep ourselves warm in spite of the air conditioning. I dont know why or how that could possibly ever be a rave, but it is.

Rave: Just got to see a screening of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers at Ravinia Festival, with the score being played live as the movie played by the Chicago Symphony orchestra behind the screen. It was fantastic.

Long weekend ahead. Wooo-oooah!

As of this morning, a spider that invaded my desk and evaded me for 2 months, has been officially squished.

Today is a good day. :)

Tonight, I was able to see a nova with my own eyes for the first time in my life. I even did it in spite of nearby light pollution, both lunar *and* man-made, and outdated eyeglasses. :D

(It was a faint fuzzy white/silver-ish dot, but I saw it. :D )

(Apologies for double post. )
