Well, duh, it's English philology, so there's linguistics and phonology and that sort of stuff. Also history and culture of the British Isles.

The sky outside my house yesterday evening (not just the sunset, the entire sky) was this absolutely awesome-looking bright yellow-orange color. Over the course of an hour it faded into a dull strawberry red and then a pinkish-purple color (while still managing to look awesome) There was also a rainbow.
