It has been a long time. :|

Seeing all those folks come and go. How the times have changed! I still vaguely remember the wild frontier days with Fifty and all.

There are lots of others who have been here longer.

In the last ten years, my life has changed in ways I couldn't have imagined. Two cats and a dog died, my dad was diagnosed with dementia and has been in hospitals and nursing homes since 2007. I adopted my younger cat in 2007. I've moved 3 times since then.

My last conversation with Fifty was about cats.

Tonight I finish a remix for a competition. I will not be getting any sleep. It will be loads of fun. It will also hurt very bad.

Well, I'm a bit more financially stable than I originally thought. Unfortunately, most of that will have to go into paying for medical bills and school loans and other stuffs like that.

I've been here six years this month and I used to lurk for the Civ IV mods before then.

If I count lurking, then I've probably been in CFC since 2002 or something, close to when it was first founded.

And to think that some OT posters were just toddlers at that time. ._.

A family friend who works in the CA state government has been trying to help me get in for the past couple months or so, and it seems like there's a possibility I might be able to get an internship in the California state government. It's not guaranteed whatsoever, but there are a few things that work in my favor:

1. My dad used to work in this same department, and some of his siblings and honestly like half our family friends still work in this same department, so there are connections.
2. The boss of the family friend who's helping me out seems to know my dad, because my dad was hardworking (well, by government bureaucrat standards, that is) and left a good impression on everyone.

So if I do manage to get my foot in the door that'll be pretty good, because according to everyone once you're safely in the California state government it's much easier to find employment in it and switch around to other branches if you want to.

Though unfortunately even if it works out it'll be an unpaid internship, but whatever, I'l'l take what I can get.

On Monday we had for one of our dataset really beautiful results, which made really nicely sense, and would've given us a pretty neat scientific impact.
Today in the morning it turned out that I screwed up the statistics, and that nothing of that is statistically significant.
I don't know what to do.

I think I fixed my statistics.
I feel like dying from stress right now.
