Last night I apparently got into a rather lengthy discussion with an email corrospondent about an arcade game called Astro Invader and the Commodore Amiga Juggler.... Or rather their connections to something else. What's hilarious is that I don't remember it (it was in my inbox) and I swear I don't drink alcohol.

Which composer and work? Carmina Burana has alot of interesting percussion work, but due to the complexity it is rarely done by youth orchestras.

We played four short pieces, the first was "Rosamunde Overture" by Franz Schubert. Next, the rest of them played "Irish Tune from Country Derry." I didn't have a part for that. Then we played "Alleluia" by Ralph Manuel. Then we played "Hungarian Dance No. 5" by Brahms.

We are currently working on "Marhe Slav" by Tchaikovsky. It's a great piece.

Thats nice. Marche Slav is one of my favorite pieces by Tchaikovsky after Piano Concerto 1.
