Not all of them are that bad. We have this one awsome sub who is in his seventies and subs just so he can tell stories. Everybody likes him.

heh, was completely diffferent for me, the only teachers that really inspired were the substitutes we used to get from new zealand, they never stayed long but wow did they have a knack of inspiring even the most jaded of pupils, new zealand makes good teachers in my experience and i don't know why

I've trained myself to cross my sevens and my z's (for the most part).

And I'm a bit more accustomed to print writing than I used to be; I still write in all cursive but for tests and such I can write in print so that graders can actually read what I write.
