Random Raves XV: Like Skipping Through A Field of Flowers

That's seriously impressive, Dachs. :)

The longest chain of the same regnal names I know about is James I to James VI! :crazyeye:
Nitpick: Mary, Queen of Scots, intervened between James V and James VI.

So is reciting the alphabet backwards, but it doesn't stop some people.

It's useful if you're pulled over ;)

I have a similarly useless skill, except I can do Roman Emperors.

From 27 BC to 1453 AD, plus some vague comments about silly people like Andreas Palaiologos. Still haven't got the pre-Golden Bull Holy Roman Emperors down, though.

Sir, you are a true mental giant

EDIT: Keeping it legal: thanks to the miracle of modern medicine, my throat hurts less and my fever's gone.

No clue.. I didn't even study it.. Just a good memory I guess.

But their names aren't even that memorable compared to the English kings that I can all remember since Edward the Confessor!

Well its the equivalent isn't it. Americans name Presidents and the English name Kings.

I can't name all the Taoisigh in order and theres only been like eight or something. The shame.

That's a pretty useless skill...

No its not. If he's doing it for AP I assume it will advance his chances of getting into a good University.

Sir, you are a true mental giant

This amuses me because it means that Dachs is a crazy big person in British English. Ya mental giant!

There have been more English kings than American Presidents, plus I can name half the US Presidents, all the Brazilian Emperors and all the leaders of the USSR! :smug:

Damn her!

Lists of names aren't too unusual. I can name most of the planar layers from the Planescape AD&D setting. :)

Well I can name all of the Argentine champions from 1961 onwards and many of thir runners-up if it helps :)

(I can name all the Scottish champions for the past 25 years but it's easy since it's only two teams ;))

I can name all the winners, runners-up and hosts of FIFA World Cups, as well as the round Brazil got to in all of them. :smug:

Don't you just love checking out the lyrics for a Folk Metal song you like and seeing that it is in Swedish, despite the fact that the band isn't from Sweden?

Hmmm… Klamydia? :p

Avatars and attachments are working again in CFC!!! :w00t: :w00t:
