I've been so bored today that I've been able to plan classes all the way until I graduate, picking up a major and two minors.

I don't know why, but I just sometimes love random textbook terrible puns in problems/silliness. Like seeing problems on plane stress in airplane fuselage (hue hue hue) or my fluid mechanic textbook randomly having problems on giraffes all the time (like pressure differences, bernoulli equation, modelling giraffe artery as viscous pipe and getting velocity distribution, etc).

Wow, not many people can do that these days. Be sure to pass on your first hand experience.

I finally worked up the courage to talk to a girl I like today. Nothing in depth, just a few light hearted sentences about our courses, what we did before etc. I picked up a lot of signs too - her nervous laugh, she seemed interested in what I was saying, asked questions... looking good!

As expected, there's an almost 3:1 ratio of women to men in my Walter Williams Scholars group. Makes for decent chances come college, mayhap.
