We just brought my father home from the hospital. He has improved tremendously since he was admitted on Tuesday.

It appears that all his symptoms can be explained by a bad reaction to Levaquin, the antibiotic he was placed on 2 weeks ago when he had an unexplained fever of 104 degrees. When the blood cultures came back negative he quit taking it after just a couple days, but apparently the medication's side effects can happen up to 2 months later.

That's excellent news!

I got to the part in Portal 2 with the really really poor insults (it's in Chapter 8). I found it so funny that I jumped into a bottomless pit several times to hear the whole exchange again. No spoilers here though.

Missed my bus because I was too stupid to tell time properly, but from the window of the next bus (75 minutes later) I saw an otter in the river! I'd never seen one in the wild before.
