Back in Barcelona. Great time this weekend, but nowhere as good as home (sweet home).

Here is a tip if somebody wants to make a Garry's Mod comic: First spawn a big plate (they're under 'construction' in the props spawning menu) and freeze it into place. Then set up your pose on top and maybe a camera too, then parent everything to the plate. That way you can just move the plate around to get a better background without having to rearrange everything, because once I set up everything then realized it would look better if I turned it around, and there were many things to move. Then when its in a good place just use the color tool to set it (the plate, I mean) to invisible.

Though its a good idea to be careful, because one time I parented I think an NPC to the plate and it went spinning out of control and I said out loud "OH CRAP COME BACK"... it was quite amusing.

Just accidentally came across a live stream of the Presidential Inauguration. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've seen the American government (or rather, the president) openly embrace investment in the energy business straying from oil and widening gay rights. I know much of this is public pandering but I'm genuinely impressed with the speech and I hope to see some of these things happen in the next four years.

It is strange to me how I'm more invested in American politics than Canadian politics.
