Request a "ask a"!

IDK, though I suppose a primary author might have more feedback to offer.

That depends, because who gets to be the first author is often quite a political issue and is not always a good indicator how involved the other people on the paper were.

I'd love to see "Ask an Intensivist" be revived, but I don't think Nano enjoyed it.

Let's please not stoop to nonsensical threads like "Ask an Asian." What's next, "Ask a Whitey?" "Ask a Redhead?" "Ask a Bro?" :cringe:

For some reason I thought maybe we should have an "Ask a Self-Declared Otaku/Weaboo/Japanophile" thread. I'd love to hear their perspective.

Yup, but I'm probably of much the same stripe as yourself. And the time and attention I'd have to devote to an "Ask a Buddhist" thread probably wouldn't do it justice.

Awesome, I'm not alone. :D

Ask an assassin. Even if nobody responds, "Ask an assassin" is fun to say.

"Ask an equestrian".

Sure,it would definitely help to get a different perspective on things. So do we contact a mod for this? Which Mod? Plotinus isn't around.

Would anyone be interested in "Ask a Martial Arts Instructor?"

Definitely, I've been known to do a little taekwondo in my time! Would welcome some advice!

One of you start it! We're all stoked.

I think I require an "Ask a Pilot" thread.

Well he's dead. If I ever become a Master I'll start a thread (still trying to break Expert [rated 2000] right now).
I guarantee you that you will be there pretty soon.:)
Since I myself is still about that I could start such a thread, but I doubt there is much interest. Or alternatively Ask a chess trainer, since I for personal reasons don't participate in too many tournaments these days.
Myself, I would like to see ask a musicologist or ask a welfare recipient.

We have Ask a Catholic and Ask an Evangelical, and heck, even "Ask A Mormon." I think someone should start "Ask an Orthodox" at some point so all the major Christian groups were represented.

A restoration of "Ask a Muslim" would be cool as well.

We had a Ask A Mormon before. I remember posting questions on that one as well.
