yes, but I can't login.
I will send you updated FTP details shortly.
Quick again this morning (Scandinavia time), but the last days it has ground to a near-halt as the day progresses. Sure this is a DNS thing and not user traffic when the US wakes up?
I'd hoped that would have been fixed.
I've gotten an impressive improvement in speed so far this morning.
It should be good now.
I have put back the setting that tracks for unread posts/threads.
Very slow still. 23s to load main forum page.
Not sure if anyone's mentioned this yet, but the email issues seem to be fixed- I'm getting email notifications for PM's again for the first time in years. I'd forgotten I even had that option turned on...
Yep, back to extreeeeeeeeeeme slowdowns
A mix between slow and "OMG is the internet borked?".
Speed is very, very variable - at times it's much faster than before, other times it's painfully slow.
It's been consistently slow for me since the migration was completed. At least 20 seconds a page load on good days, sometimes over a minute on the bad days.
Really slow today. It took more than two minutes for this thread to load.
Does the 237 include just the Downloads Database, or also links from the forums that aren't in the downloads database? I know some mods, such as the Medieval Europe Mod for Civ3, were hosted on AtomicGamer but weren't in the downloads database (or in that case only had the scenario file, but not graphics/patches/etc. in the downloads database), and there may be others. I believe that particular mod is being re-uploaded by its creators, but the others might not be.
The performance has been mostly good for me in the U.S. midwest.
Only included those in the downloads database.
Freeway speeds in Albuquerque and no problems. Thanks Thunderfall and everyone else who managed the migration. Well done.
Attached is the list of files that had link to AtomicGamer.
The green highlighted ones are already handled. If you guys could help contact the modders to ask them to re-upload, that would be great.
Things have slowed down quite dramatically of late.
last night, 1-3 second page loads. today, 7-10 seconds. dont know if it is the difference in 11pm vs 1pm EST traffic but it was significant. just fyi.
Preposterously slow today too. If it's going to be this slow there will be little point in coming here.
Site still feels a lot slower than before.
Also what is the most recommended download site to host files on.
Separate names with a comma.
