I think you can do it in Chong if you want to.Right, Parthenon can be whipped complete on T56 in Manchou

But we get little/no failgold and it has no use after the artist is born. Isn't T62 fast enough for Shanghai? Although a library isn't a bad investment.I'm leaning towards National Epic triple chop in Shanghai.
I was hoping for a free one in Rome. Capture around T60? or T62?Tsing can also finish Colossus at the end of T58

Isn't the capital going to make 500gpp without NE? So wouldn't we be better off doing the 600 using the NE. In capital...or Beijing? Who's doing the 600 GP?Now that is an interesting thought.
National Epic in capital?

what else would we run? OR for wonder building? Not sure how many wonders our Tao cities can handle with (almost) no forests left.Would need Pacifism for rest of game.
Speaking of which, any national wonders still available are the best for whipping straight. Globe for example.
This should help solve the problem. In fact, now it sounds familiar.
recaptured GoldCity just took Gua's old slot as #2 city
ZPV's answer makes sense, but we gave away Gold City, Gua, and Shanghai, then immediately captured back Gua, Shanghai, and (Gold City) the following turn. Thanks
m_cities is a funky variable-length array type (See FFreeListTrashArray.h for details). When you lose a city, its "spot" will get recycled (LIFO as far as I can tell), and if there are no free spots in the middle, then new cities are added to the end.
In 900BC, we:
- Gave away Fur City
- Gave away Hamburg
- Recaptured Fur City (goes in Hamburg's spot)
- Then in 875BC we captured Thebes (goes in Fur City's #2 spot)
Here. With most national wonders, the Kremlin exactly cancels out the wonder penalty, so it's just like normal whipping.I can't find the whipping coefficients for Wonders.
Do you have the info?
I know some Wonders are easier to whip than others.
it's hurrycostmodifier in buildinginfos
I think all world wonders are 100
HE, NE are 50
Moai is the oddball at 100, but we can't build that.
edit: 50 just means -50%, so you use 90h base instead of 135. Essentially just cancels out the Kremlin.
edit2: Oops, I put my marathon brain back in. 30h base instead of 45.

Tell me about it!The options we have are very numerous!
Interesting idea. Currency would be worth 18cpt right now, whereas golden age seems like >50cpt + the additional hammers and gpp, though this all comes very late in the game.It is possible to tech Calendar and chop x6 in Chong to get Mausoleum of M. by Turn 57. (Have to DOW Japan T54, steal Korean Worker, have it chop forest on T56)
But, is it worth it to delay Currency 4 turns to get 4 more turns of Golden Age?
Do we get any value from a GM so late? GA, GP or GE could all give instant points, GM not so much.Great Artist/Great Merchant on Turn 70?
It would be 58% ish Great Merchant chance.
