Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 24th of February 2014

Its not my work this time :)

I am afraid so, back in Apr, and nobody ever put them back in. I can do it if nobody else wants to. But i wont be able to for about 1/2 month or so though, i am working on alot of those other changes for TXT duplications.

Ok I see. Anyway problem should be fixed now.

There is a line to much in your last changes, remove line 19193 from CvInfos.cpp to fix this issue.

THANK YOU!!!! I had thought this was an aspect of the issue I'd brought to your attention with the debug run collapsing if you were attached while loading the game or something - it had confused me. I'd noticed it when running the debugger only - didn't realize it was affecting the main and thus I hadn't realized it was something I'd done - sorry SO! Will fix with haste.

@Joe: I'll get those promos taken care of shortly - I didn't want to clutter my last commit further.
 
So I was testing out a new animal today and when I would load it in DH's experimental folder many other units would become missing and some would become red blobs. Yet when I would remove it from the mod it would no back to normal. Any idea why this happens?

Note the animal I added would not appear either.

EDIT: Oh and I was using SVN v7420.

the art defines schema is also in a different place now. Probably not a problem for you testing stuff though as it should still load with the copy in the folder.
 
So I tried to copy the armadillo by just renaming everything to Armidillo2. And it seemed to work fine without messing up other units. So it must be my own template file. However when replacing the armadillo art with my new animal art to see if it would show up it seems to be blank. However it doesn't break other units when doing this.

Seems like I may also have a broken mesh too as well as an outdated template.

You should double check the new Thylacinus file I posted for you it too seems to have code that breaks other units but the unit itself seems to work fine. Thus the only important info you should take from that file is the button, 3D mesh and the mesh scale value, the rest of the files can be redone from scratch.

EDIT: Not sure what I did but now the animal mesh shows up. :crazyeye:

I'm getting this popup. Clicking on Whaling Ships is an immediate CTD. Clicking the other 2 options seems to work, that is the game does not crash.

Considering the trigger that should bring that up is working for whaling ships I'm a little confused how that's happening there. Please share the savegame from the round before this point and I should very much like to check that out!

@SO: I didn't expect much added delay from this stuff but I can give it another look through for further optimization.

Sure, here it is, just ending the turn should show the popup in the beginning of the next turn.

Before 7408 turn times (TT) were 40-45 seconds. Then after 33-40 seconds, depending if a new tech was discovered or not.
Now i am back to over 45-55 seconds again??? And even loooonger than before, now its back to being bored again????

Any progress on this?
