Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

Building the Empire State building caused this python error to come up. Probably in the part about 3 random resources which the ESB should provide.

My first dowmload, after some custom civs were added back.

On loading the game got three errors - but game loaded.

"Unit_Artstyle_xxxx_info class incorrect."

FOR: Aborigine, Jivaro, Tupi.

Jiv/Tupi i used Meso, not really that much for choices because we are not using Artstyles in the modules.

Yes those and many more in resmgr.log but many textures are only used in kfm files that makes it hard to find out where they are missing. In that case you can't use grepWin to find where they are used.
 
How to enable loging resmgr.log?
Tried ; Enable the logging system in CivilizationIV.ini and seems its not working.
 
The file is found in:

Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Games\Beyond the sword\Logs

or equivalent path.
 
Is it intentional that units with hidden nationality (HN) can influence cultural borders when attacking from inside a foreign city at units standing at an adjacent tile?

This bestows yet another imbalance to the already very strong HN units.
 
Not intentional... just never isolated from them I suppose. The effect was implemented some time ago. I'm not sure by whom. Most likely, our current usage of HN units was not such a major thing when that modification was developed.

So yeah, it's something to code to keep HN units from influencing culture with battle. Good idea.

Keep in mind that they do not influence cultural borders if attacking units in another way than I described in previous post.

hmm... sounds like an attempt to isolate that was made then but the function call used to define the parameters of that check may have a funny effect in it based on city location. Might make things a bit more complicated (or simply be a bit more complicated than it needs to be and in need of simplification.)

I can ignore it safely and get through the load process but that's when this comes up and I was wondering why - if you know already.
 
Not quite a bug but the "Wild Animals have migrated" event happens too often IMO

I often end up 4 or 5 new animal resources

Ok guys so third game in a row I haved tried where I was the first to reach Druidism but nothing happened....... Divine Prophets is not on

Must be something wrong? Somebody else mentioned this saying that Shamansim was aslo having no effect......
