Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

Okay then, between those 2 dll changes there was also some bug fixes for CTDs, among other things. And tons of art changes too.

When was playping's WB added in then, if you remember DH?

Bug fixes including fixes to the graphics are what the freeze is about. That is what is supposed to happen in a freeze before release:lol:

AIAndy did it. When I looked into updating it I noticed we had two files with the same name but different code and I am not sure which one we use.

There are major differences in the new version as Platyping cleaned it up a lot making the links much easier. It may be the case that we need to go back before the merge and start again.

This was in response to Harriers post about using WB that with:
SVN 8483 (dll 8362) works OK in WB..

SVN 8484 (dll 8437) does not work in WB.

Hmm, might look into it when I have time, cause I already uninstalled Civ IV since not much requests nowadays.
 
Will it matter later in game if you have more then one empire wide resource in C2C? Like you got 5 resources stone or 5 cow, or no more benefit from more than 1 resource displayed in city screen?
 
It is possible for buildings to require more than 1 of a resource, dunno if it's in use anywhere though.

There are also some ambition to make buildings consume resources but no one is actively pursuing this right now.
 
Can someone figure out WHY the turn times in this single player scenario is taking so darn looong??

I have only 4 cities and i have one i just reached the Industrial Era and only takes 1/2 the time as this one??

Checked. Indeed turn time is ~1 minute or more.
You have 4 cities but AI got ~100. And there is tons of units in game.

In my testplay I played on small map with 6 AI and im in late Transhuman era and my turn time is 10-15s.

That is normal in BtS until you get corporations which do provide benefits with multiple resources. I think there even quests for you to get more.

Also any chance to teg the early guild corp system back to C2C? Why was it removed again?

Also you talked about a mars map last time? Is it possible to colonize mars and space later in C2C? Still the earth be playable then?

In Civ IV corps use empire wide resources. No change to this has been made in C2C.

There were a number of problems with them, not obsoleting was one, which meant there was conflict with latter corporations. There was a problem with a limit on the number you could have but that was fixed early on part of the loop for corps was looking at religions instead. I think there is still a limit of 30-40.

Multi maps are needed for a proper implementation of this aspect.

Nothing wrong with asking these questions, but you are doing it in the wrong thread.
 
BUG: When i reload my game sometimes... "Deer Hunter camp ceased to work message" next turn it works again. Can happen to other buildings also, only happens on loading a game and finishing the first turn.
 
Can someone track and remove this anoying bug with double Angry citizens from buildings? Recalculating doesn't work and its really game breaking bug. I can provide save if needed.

Provide the save. It will help to analyze exactly where it's coming from. Might be a correct calculation with an incorrect explanation text reference (or could be the difference between local buildings and national building effects.) Will be interesting to disseminate either way.
 
Look the screenshots plz, this bug is only happening when i load a game and then after the first turn, i think that happens only when i have some civs conquered, or 3 citys or advanced in the tech tree a bit and its a problem from a speacial tech. Is this bug known for other games already?

I can't really call this a bug I don't think. It's that certain player game states are not active until updated and the update takes place after a check on building validity. It's a little funny and I think it has to do with whether you are considered to have a civic or not or access to a resource or not and the issue most likely lies within a caching mechanism that otherwise makes the game much faster.

In short, this is not an issue I would suggest attempting to 'fix' as a fix would probably slow things down tremendously.
