Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

As requested in some other thread, screenies of how we don't see religions on scoreboard and relevant civics page. (Yes all the civs are in religions)

The line with "Cities with Construct..." indicates a font error. The bold and font size changes and truncation are the indicators. What is your state religion at that time?

I updated to 8722 for those pics too. My state religion is Druidism with Dutch, Mongols are in Meso, Vikings in Andean iirc.
 
So it is a setting somewhere for the scoreboard.

You can see there is a font error from the civic text. That's what causes the scoreboard bug as well. The scoreboard settings are correct - I checked that before reporting the bug in the first place.

Could it be something to do with caching?
 
After svn update i noticed that 2 of my citys have pick pocketing above +35 crime, but the city mohawk hasnt pick pocketing above +35 crime? Because the crime did not changed yet +1 point or bug? Look the red face left by crime pickpocket. Then new cost and deep water grafics are cool now, but no diference now between tropical, polar and normal ocean.

The font error would cause the same sort of errors in the scoreboard ie bold and bigger text and wrong icons eg happiness icon instead of "can trade with" icon.

I am having no problem when I choose Druidism or any of the other "early" religions:confused::crazyeye:
 
Worldview Slavery (Niekorzycae) polish translation creeped into english game. Check buildings unlocked by Emancipation.
 
Machu Pichu didnt spawn on any nearby peaks and also continental railroad (golden spike wonder), wonder that spawns roads worked. Performance issues related maybe? Turns take forever, no crashes so far, first game in quite a bit, gj :)

pls dont advise me to use something i haven't in 10 years here, i use Notepad and thats it, so pls adhere to it thx . . . .

Unless the correct screen is from a very old revision, my guess would be Sparth as polish is in the scrambled screen shot and not in the other.

This bug autofixed as soon as the crime was changed by a new building.

Also new BUG:

Poisoncrafters hut bug, screenshot. Maybe the "s" is lower case.

Also:

Shock Promotion +20% vs melee should work against scouts also, it isnt as it looks like.

Ok, important to fix but very complex as you can see from the posted code above. I need to figure out where either a double summing is taking place or values haven't been removed that should've been before resetting them.

Hi Thunderbrd, I have tested the captured city production bug again as you posted this update in the SVN thread:

8707 -Fixes MAJOR bug with city capturing.

I found it was a partial success. The Stone Tools Maker in a captured city now shows the production values based on my own tech instead of that of the previous owner. I also tested it by almost researching a tech that gives +1 hammer, save the game, and capture a city after researching and not researching that tech. In the former case the captured stone tools maker gives 1 more hammer than the latter, and is consistent with my own cities. Well done!

However, the ghost production bug still exists. A captured city still has more production of every kind than it should, and this vanishes on a forced recalc.

Regarding the question whether it is double summing or starting the calculation with a non-zero baseline, I guess it is a non-zero baseline, because after deleting all buildings with CTRL-A I still have too much production. A captured city with no buildings (all deleted with CTRL-A), no wonders, +2 hammers from tile, and +1 hammer from herd, erroneously totaled 11 hammers base production instead of the expected 3 hammers.

The "s" is in lowercase everywhere so it should not be a problem except it shouldn't be. Changing it everywhere will cause you to need to build the building again.

I'll change it just on the text definitions for PEDIA and STRATEGY in both the text and building building files to see if that fixes the problem.

In notepad++ everything is ok.
Checked: Formating was changed when RWN combine lots of XML files. Its was way before Polish translations was merged with mod.
Fixing this to old formating takes a lot of work and from my perspective is nonsense because we can use, other, better soft to edit XMLs.

Please use Notepad++. Its much better tool then simple Notepad. And as much as fast.
