Single Player bugs and crashes v38 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of February 2018

Apologies for instability. It cleared a round so was good enough for a commit. I'll fix the crashes and buggy stuff when I get home later. As for tooltips, I think that's been a noted issue already and it may well be another expression of the same linking problem we're having with how the new linkage method is working in tangent with PPIO. I know of another similar bug in the Great Person breakdown tooltip.

Do you feel that +1 food per 5 pop past the first is a bit too severe? I could lower it to .1 instead of .2 and still get a significant limiting effect.

Don't know yet to be honest. The GlobalDefines changed settings (2 of them) Double the food needed and increases the accrual rate by 40% If I understand them correctly. Plus what ever coding changes you made beyond the Globals.

I've posted the series of screen shots in the Capital city of this particular test game up to this CTD. (I have so far Not been able to advance it though.) But the only city that was Shrinking was the Capital. My next largest city is pop 9. And it and all the other smaller ones are/were doing okay....so far.

Now I will move to another Test game to see if it also CTD's after about 5-7 turns. I got plenty to choose from. :P
 
New game that made it to turn 17 and then CTD at EoT. Funny thing is that the last 2 autosaves have same time stamp.

You should be able to load 175511BC but I don't think you will be able to load 173981BC. At least I could not. CTD during loading process.

I did finally get the 2nd one to load but then It CTD at EoT too. :P
 
Found and proved the issue is completely resolved - compiling final and about to post to the SVN soon. It was a simple divide by 0 error. I also changed the food consumption to +.1 food consumed cumulatively per pop past the first rather than .2. In Joseph's game, growth was quick still but that's because he had truly impressive plots for food growth. I do think I need to adjust another value in the equation to make pop after the first take a bit more to achieve than it currently does. I'll make that tweak but it shouldn't prove to be too strong an adjustment.

Comes from not being as good as what it's replacing. I think @raxo2222 has been helping with these when they come up.
 
I don't have a screenshot on this computer but can post one later but its seems to me the Grand Villa's gold output is much more than it should be.

I built one which gave 20 gold- it is supposed to 8 plus 15% of foreign trade (15% of what- commerce ?)


I suppose city wide multipliers could impact but it still seems a bit out?

SVN is about 2 months old

Yeah, I fixed all of those (probably excluding gold and culture), but it seems like thing was defined in module or something too.

It looks like it doesn't count worth of current building somehow.
One allows you to get one more scientist, and replacement gives scientist.

Crash to desktop after my soldiers enters the barbarian city. Prehistoric era, latest svn version, size maters, huge map. Py err log, minidump and savegame included)

Python log is about illegal characters - maybe @Toffer90 used those in some city names.

All your city names are "??????????" by the way.
This crash can be replicated.
 
again: Monotir freezing when click on foreign city:
Africa - Egypt, has in middle Maya with "Elephantine". If I click on it, it is fine, it opens.
Northwest beside it is Egypt city "Arthribis". If I click on it, monitor freezes, nothing more possible, city screen does not open, need to exit game with task manager.

Update SVN and check if freeze persists.
I had to rename save to load it lol.

It looks like Pit's oversized Earth scenario.
You are in Medieval era and probably few AIs are in Renaissance too.
