The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

A few weeks ago:
Men of War: Assault Squad
Men of War

Recently:
M2TW
Empires (Source mod)

I also got Shogun 2: Total War yesterday but am still in the download process from STEAM.

I was considering picking up Homefront as well but based on the community feedback I'll pass.

I also got HOI3 and Sempre Fi recently on Gamersgate since they're on sale. Yay!!

The moment it goes on sale it's mine. Kinda short on cash at the moment.

Wait until the Gold Edition, then you get whatever expansions and DLC and for a lower price. Plus patches and any mods will be released.

Unless you have oodles of bandwidth to spare then go ahead and download all 20 gigs.

Battlefield Play 4 Free

It's like a downgraded BF2 released several years later. Bewilderingly dumb.

Nevertheless it is fun!

I just got Planescape Torment from Gog.com a few days ago. It's pretty awesome so far--I'm looking forward to playing the Baldur's Gate games and Icewind Dale as well.

LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition
Marvel v. Capcom 3
Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrels (DS)
Pokemon Black

I am pretty satisfied with all of them. MvC3 is the most entertaining fighting game I've played in years, Lufia has a rocking soundtrack, Black is a refreshing pokemon experience, and LBP is barrels o' fun on multiplayer (also it was cheap).

Picked up Total War: Shogun 2 last week. Awesome game...period.

Diplomacy actually works now. Atmosphere, aesthetics, and gameplay superior to previous games in the series. Battle AI is very competent, however campaign AI makes some silly mistakes like leaving some border prefectures undefended when at war with the human player.

Just bought magicka + all DLC on the steam sale.

Also, I'm pretty sure I will get ground $300 bucks at the end of June to spend however I wish. Should I get a PS3 and a game or two or go on a $300 PC gaming spree?
