Do they have dropbears in NZ or is that just in Australia ?
Yeah, sounds neat, the concept. Birds of a feather flock together. Kinda shows life is more chill over there, on the far side.
Who would win in a fight between a kiwi and a kangaroo?Over here it's reasonably common to self identify as a kiwi. It's an informal term basically meaning New Zealander. Race doesn't matter.
Immigrants can become kiwis to me it's independent of citizenship ship though. Basically you can become a kiwi IMHO before your citizenship papers come through. If you get your citizenship papers and immediately sod off to Australia you're not really a kiwi IMHO.
Whoever manages to shoot the other one first.Who would win in a fight between a kiwi and a kangaroo?
I wasn't born in NZ, but I've lived more years in NZ than my "home country", enough that I've lost a lot of my ability to speak my first language. If anything English could be considered my native language. So I definitely feel like a Kiwi by my own standards.
There is a definite imbalance between different sorts of Kiwis, however. Some of this is definitely irrational and political (for example, the National Party declaring Māori names for our gov't departments need to get gone), some of it might not be, I'm not sure. We have had our bad moments, the school curriculum was recently changed to include those and bring more awareness of those. For example, the 1981 Springbok tour and the New Zealand Wars.
I'll never understand why foreigners call kiwifruit 'kiwis', though, it's very strange.
Edit: Not to mention the dawn raids on the Polynesian Panthers.
Alot of Americans here comment on work life balance being better.
Americans more scared and high strung generally.

Love how this was just ignored lmao
Discrimination in kiwiland? A place built upon white supremacy?
Huh????
Cool whataboutism bro
Anyway let's listen to what non-white Kiwi's say instead of the white dude with a vested interested in downplaying the less savory elements of his countries history
Have you even been to New Zeland?Cool whataboutism bro

Your opinion matters why?
Nothing is good until it's perfect?
What are you trying to accomplish?
No place is perfect. What matters is progress not the past. Am I supposed to berate my mother every time she does me a favor because of the mistakes she made when I was two? And?

I'd like to check it out someday when kids are older. SE Asia and Australia too, probably hit all in one go as it's too time consuming and expensive to take all those trips separatelySome members of CFC have not sure how active they are now.
