Question of my own: Why is it that all American houses seem to be made of cardboard? Almost everything seems to be built out of ridiculously thin wooden walls, fit to be torn apart by even only a hit by a sledgehammer. Even in those areas that are known to get hit by hurricanes, tornados and what else might be tormenting North America.

Americans believe in change! Everything should be easy to change. Brick castles just go against this mentality, well that and the ominous presence of governance they impose.

It's quite unlikely that any other common residential material would fare all that much better against that kind of assault- perhaps a heavy Victorian redbrick would leave you with a half-filled shell, but not much more- so people build for what is economical and practical in ordinary times. Of course, it does get silly in those areas that experience cold winters, and so end up burning half a coal field for want of a good thick slab of insulation, but that's not a uniquely American folly by any measure.

Alright, I am creating a presentation via Powerpoint to help convince my mom that I can add choir upon my list of stuff I'm doing this fall. Tuition is $350 for the year, and a certain someone is in it, and we both want me to be in choir a lot. Mom isn't really for it, Dad is kinda neutral.

But aside from that, what colors should I use as backgrounds to make them more susceptible to agreeing with me? I've already planned for us to listen to Brian Regan tonight, to put them in a good mood. Also, how should I convince them? I've got some great arguments, and if it helps, I can list them. Just ask.

I have a question. In a catalog I saw a small fridge that held pop cans. I think 9 or 12. How much power would that take? My mom is considering getting one as our fridge is sort of small but she's worried that the landlord will get mad for using more electricity.

Also there's a dead fly squashed on the wall. I tried wiping it but it smeared fly guts everywhere. Should I use cleaner stuff?

More exposure means more tanning which means less sensitivity. So yes.

There are sooooo many better ways to cool a can. I wouldn't want to draw the power off the PC for things that are not related to the PC. Not that it can't be done, but I would avoid it in nearly all cases.
