Indeed. You reap what you sow.

There's some really complicated thinking going on here. Wow! I can't untangle what you all actually mean.

Public awareness campaigns are what governments do offer when lobby groups are pushing for the banning/restricting/taxing of stuff they find undesirable. When this pressure amounts to enough yet they don't wish to upset the suppliers of said stuff, who may well be donors or very powerful, the public awareness campaign is the classic cop out.

Not always true. Some things people just don't learn elsewhere unless you pound it home to them.

Can we get back to the questions not worth their own thread? :)

And you a nobody. :p

When you come around to the understanding that all of us, from the poorest, least capable, most "insignificant" among us right through to the rich, famous and powerful are actually all "somebodies", then you will no longer feel the need or desire to constantly ask whether you are missed or liked. You will feel a part of something bigger and be a very happy and content ELITE. I for one wish you the best and hope you realize this sooner rather than later. This advice is far more powerful if you imagine it said in Yoda's voice.

And that's amateur Socrates signing off for today.

Plus, anyone who enters the military, voluntarily or involuntarily, *always* come out as uber-conservative, regardless of previous leanings.

bummer, must've misset the memo that I'm supposed to be uber-conservative since I was a conscript as well ;)

never talk like that, yoda would. :p

Is there any way to change the vB skin of this forum? I've grown a bit tired of Modern CFC and uh... The other skins are rather awful.

I use Google Chrome, if that matters.

Scroll down to the very bottom of the page. There's a style sheet chooser dropdown box.

Dark Blue is the way to go.

I think he was asking about skins other than what's presented here. And I don't know about any of those. Just use Dark Blue man.

Whoa, turnip green almost tripped me back to green monochrome monitors. Now I just need to find a keyboard that actually clicks.

What's wrong with Modern CFC?

It has become bland. I'm surprised I lasted this long, I usually get tired of a forum theme after six months.

It's really not a big deal, which is, well.. Why it's in this thread.
