Maybe all this discussion could be, but the actual information should probably stay out here.

This thread is meant to explain the game to potential new players who wander into the forum, maybe through a sig link or just a misclick, and think, 'Hey, NOTW information thread? Is that where they put all their phone-tapping information?' (he said, satirically) They wouldn't see it if it were hidden away in the social group.

The thread is staying open and updated. I didn't take it over for it not to get used . Anyway, this is much more visible to the random wandering person than the social group is. The thread was originally made as a marketing tool in the forum games section to help generate interest, and moving it "behind the scenes" thus causing people to have to "look" for it is rather counter-productive.

As for the discussion, I think the same thing can be said. This page is more visible and I know that I don't check the social group as often as I probably should. I'm certain the same can be said for others as well. As long as the discussion stays on NOTW topics I don't see any good reasons for it to be moved elsewhere. While a separate group for designing specific NOTW's is a good idea, the general discussion I think should stay in a more public setting.

I wondered that as well, I seem to remember a youtube video that I belive was making fun of the New Zealand accent. It featured a whale that kept on complaining about being "beached, Beached as Bro"

With oyzar's game set to start any moment now, I would like to know from both Frozen in Ice and Ekolite/Renata about who is planning on going next. I know Frozen mentioned he still wanted to host after oyzar but if he wasn't ready he'd let Renata and Ekolite jump ahead of him. Once oyzar's game thread is up, that person could then put up their sign up thread.

As far as I know, we are next. If we're not ready by the time oyzar finishes then Frozen can of course take our place. From my point of view the earlier the better.

Well, there should be a signup thread up by a week or so after oyzar's starts, which is why I think BL asked now. If we turned out not to be ready or something, it could result in a sizable delay.
