The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

It happened that there was NO independent cities in the west until maybe the turn before the founding of Christianity in Kaifeng.

Thanks, Kublai.

I guess.

I never know that those diplomatic option (let alone the text) existed... but wait, what city he offered? :/

In 305 AD? I thought it's supposed to be autofounded after that long...

With instability no longer giving rise to independent cities, but rather liberating cities to existing civs - there are often no independents on the map.

I have been playing Ethiopia exclusively for the last month or so. I can routinely found Christianity in Turn 159. The screenshot with China founding Christianity was Turn 161.

Don't know if that follows the spirit of this thread as I have few games under belt:

If only that lasted more than one turn.
Spoiler :

Mehmed, you disappoint me. MIssing such a costless occasion.

Arabian Rome is funny, but so is Rome still alive in 1120, with its capital and only city (?) in Romania.

Now where's my OMG?

This was from an unfinished game when the new stability mechanics were just implemented.

Well...and someone see USA collapse sometime?..

^Not from natural causes. In my every Mexico game, though, but that's not really an OMG. I'd love to see them collapse for AI reasons sometime.
