That's really historical! It kinda simulate Germany East and Germany Ovest.

East Germany indeed. On the other hand, I don't think that West Germany was under joint French-Dutch-Scandinavian occupation for very long :p

I've decided to make a proper map, complete with the Berlin Wall in the background:

If America and Britain were to trade places with France and the Dutch, then it would be more accurate. Only the Soviets are in the right spot, and America has not done its job in regards to getting involved in European wars.

Oh, and Konigsburg should be Russian too, but I'm guessing that's from a Polish respawn.

Also, quite the interesting situation going in in Australia and NZ down in the corner.

Yeah me and the British have been quite neutral in European affairs. The UK was too busy fighting Portugal, while the Russians dukes it out with Arabia, France, Austria, the Netherlands and Mongolia. The Prussians actually died way before this.

My first DOC game in a while: Viking crusaders take Afghanistan from the Seljuks (I'm India, and haven't touched the Seljuks at all)

Wait, encroaching Persia?Persia was the first nation to allow Christians to spread their religion.I think he's heading to Greece to spread his religion

I'm not sure how to take a screenshot on this laptop, but has anyone ever seen Byzantium get Military Tradition and build Basil's Cathedral, have late-gameish armies of monster proportions, maxed out cities, control of Italy, Marseille, Vienna, the Northwest Black Sea and Moscow, plus vassalization of France, HRE, and Poland, all by the 13th century? Seven wonders in the capital, and incredible cultural pressure from everywhere.

This was a 3000 BC game. I started as Rome, and tried to recreate the historical Empire. Sure, I played kingmaker in the east to make things more in line with the 600 AD scenario, but most of the real changes were in the west. It also could be the resource placements, but I've used them in other games and haven't ever seen a monster like this. Their stability actually flatlined for a while.

I can't get over it.
