Adria, too, I believe... there may be others, but they don't let anybody know they're female because they don't want to be teased.
Who would tease them? Besides Perfection and a few others, I mean. Most of us probably wouldn't care.

Somehow, we've missed Marla Singer.

You haven't met his family. Republican rednecks, the whole lot of 'em, according to him.

Greenland is administered by Denmark, I believe, and last I saw in an atlas, Denmark is part of Europe. ;)
From [wiki=Greenland]wikipedia[/wiki]:
In 1979, Denmark granted home rule to Greenland, with a relationship known in Danish as Rigsfællesskabet [The community of the Kingdom], and in 2008 Greenland voted to transfer more competencies to the local government. This became effective the following year, with the Danish royal government remaining in charge only of foreign affairs, security and financial policy, and providing a subsidy of DKK 3.4 billion ($633m), or approximately US$11,300 per Greenlander, annually.

Does that imply that the Falkland Islands, Canary Islands or French Guiana are also part of Europe? ;)

no, it just means Spain and France are transcontinental countries a there states(or whatever the hell thet call there respective first level administrations) are on different continents, while the Falklands are a little bit more tricky as the UK doesn't considers them a constituent country and thus not considered fully integrated in to the United Kingdom.

My own province, Alberta, passed a law that says parents can pull their kids out of sex education classes and science classes that talk about evolution - if such teaching violates the parents' personal beliefs. How's THAT for backwards education? Why don't those parents just send their kids to a Catholic school, a private religious school, or home-school them?
Does Alberta have public Catholic schools?
Even if it does, the three could be infeasible for the family. For non-Catholics in Ontario, there is a fee for attending Catholic schools. I don't know how much or anything about how it works, but I know a number of people that either attempted to, or did, attend Catholic high school for grade 12 or an extra year, and they came across this.
Private religious schools are often quite expensive and not everyone has the ability and time to provide a reasonable home-schooling.

I don't agree with the idea of exempting them, but there are plenty of reasons to stay in those schools and take advantage of these options if they see need to.

 Don't mind Tani. He's a womanphobe :mischief:

This. This is correct. :p

Foxy did say, "to date", however, indicating that maybe, just maybe, there are females out there who I could have an educated, politically-sound conversation with. ;) ...Maybe.

Is this the time to crack a "girl stands for Guy In Real Life" joke, given that you interacted with the women in question on CFC(meaning, the internet) and not in the physical world? :mischief:

Arts & Entertainment is a new forum and is still finding its "place" here - what tone it will have, how strict or lenient the moderating will be

I would like to lobby on the behalf of setting down some concrete rules on what and what does not qualify as sexual content.

Due to a past run-in on the subject(I obviously can't go into detail; PDMA and all that), I asked Ainwood for clarification(I was told he was revising the rules anyway, so it made sense), but unfortunately was never written back... :(

And that brings me to my question to justify this post.

My question is: In a forum with swollen bras in DYOS, sexual jokes all-around, and above all, huge amounts of often-borderline born in the Hunk/Babe threads, why is a swollen crotch - covered at that, and not tightly, meaning not revealing - inappropriate?

Some would joke that it was because the subject was a male and not a female, but I'm genuinely curious as to why.

Besides, it couldn't hurt to define the line between okay and inappropriate content further, could it? :)

To attend a Catholic school in Alberta, you have to show that you pay the school portion of your property taxes to the separate school system, rather than the public school system. Otherwise, I think there are extra fees involved. There is actually a fair amount of support for home-schooled kids, both within the Department of Education and parents' groups.

I don't have human children, but if I did, I'd prefer to homeschool them myself, in combination with sending them to the public schools for courses that I'm either not good enough at, or lack the resources. But any kid of mine who got homeschooled would certainly get a thorough grounding in the sciences AND a comparative religion course!

If so, where do baby dolphins come from?

Same-sex adoption?

Oh come now. This is easy!

Male eggs and female sperm! Dolphins have perfected it! Now we must seize a few and interrogate them for their secrets!

...And I'll be sure to throw all PETA protestors to the sharks; let's see how much they love animals when they're bein' mauled.

Maybe, and I'm, just guessing here, but most of us really don't want to see well hung animals.

Let me be the first to point out that Dolphins are just gay sharks;)
Spoiler :
and French people are just gay Germans:p

Question: On YouTube, I've seen WMG (Warner Music Group) pull down Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers videos from the time that they were with MCA. How is this possible?

Perhaps WMG bought the copyright of their previous works from MCA (now Universal Music Group).

I'm guessing the copywrite could have been transferred or something.

Well, in 2000, MCA/UMG put out the Anthology Through the Years which was a compilation of Petty's MCA material (e.g. before 1993). I'll check in a second.

EDIT: There was a bonus song, "Surrender," recorded in 2000, although it was written long before (I think nearly every show they did in 1977 included it): Clicky

Odd thing is that UMG puts up the Petty videos too. Actually, one time I recall putting up a Petty video and it got really weird because WMG tried to yank it while UMG wanted advertising on the page. (I ended up taking it down.)
