The universal "Poland is in X" thread

In what context is 'Eastern Europe' and 'Western Europe' useful terms today, really? I can't think of a discussion where I would group countries like that (except for some cold war discussion perhaps).

Poland, Romania, etc. are Eastern Europe.

Half of Germany is not east of where the Berlin Wall once stood. Do you even know where Berlin is at? They must not teach geography in Poland.

It's not quite that small, but yes, I had to resize it a bit in order for it to fit snugly by Florida.

OK, since everyone is picking on Poland here, I'll take the opposite state on the issue. Poland should return its lost lands back. It should be that way. Though of course, it makes Poland more Eastern European then before:

Just to ruffle the feathers a bit. Well, I guess I could demand Smolensk and Chernigov back, in that scenario Russia actually gains some territories that it doesn't have now. In worst case, there's always partition .

Haha I've got a better idea. Let's just divide Ukraine - you take east, we west. Imagine - no orange revolution anymore in future and everyone will be happy
