They just object to anthropogenic primate change.

Does Thunder Bay get a lot of thunder, or is that just what the ad wizards at Big Thunder want us to think?

Calling all Steam EUIV players. Each time I close the game steam thinks it's still running. This started happening last week I think. Is anybody else experiencing this? I'm forced to quit Steam and launch it again if I want to play again.

I looked through all running processes thinking that it's some paradox launcher still running or something, but I don't see anything like that. I googled this and find old posts only, as expected.

If nobody else is experiencing this then it's just me, but in case somebody else has ran into this and figured it out, drop me a line! thanks

Make sure the launcher is set to close after launching the game, and then when quitting, quit through the main menu instead of the in-game menu.

It's also possibly the cloud save feature hanging. You can try disabling cloud saves and see if that helps.

This happens sometimes with my Big Fish Games manager. It informs me that I can't play a different game or continue with the game I was playing because there's another game running.

It's a liar.

That's normal. One of the DLCs was buggy and to fix it they messed up.

I'll take a look at all of this, thanks!

Dang. Any idea when they're pushing out a fix?

Open task manager and close the process.

Will 3M suffer a rep hit as daily global corona cases soon pass the 3000000 mark?
Clearly yes. They choose a bad name when they switched from Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing to 3M in 2002. They should have known what was to come. ;)

I know nothing about Edmonton except roughly where it is. Woolly long underwear, merino wool is the best.

Does someone know anything about Edmonton, Canada?
One of my friends is moving there, and we're trying to find a nice present for her.
Unless your friend has spent some time north of Stockholm, the temperature in Edmonton is going to blow them away. Proper weather-rated gear is expensive. Definitely collectively chip in and get them a great coat that can handle -40 C at least (brands: North Face, Feathered Friends, NOT Canada Goose; they are the Apple of jackets). Thermals are also good to give, as well as a thick scarf and a toque (no idea what Europeans would call this... A beanie? But not the kind skaters wear).

Thanks :hatsoff:.
Since she's only going to move to Canada, we decided to not buy something which she actually needs to take along. We've now went with something online.
(yes, could have bought a voucher, I know)
So what did you get for her?

Winter coats, toques, scarves, gloves, boots... all are necessary for the cold parts of the winter. And yeah, winter usually lasts something like 6 months in this part of Canada (Edmonton is 90 minutes north of me, and they don't get the benefit of winter chinook winds that Calgary and Red Deer do). But it's not all -40C, and they suffer from heat waves there in summer as we do farther south.

I haven't lived in Edmonton, and would prefer not to, based on what I read about the crime there. But it's got its good points, which include a beautiful river valley with lots of places to hike, bike, and stroll, and there are lots of cultural things to do - festivals, theatre, sports, symphony, etc. There are several colleges and universities. I don't actually remember the last time I was there, but it would have been for a science fiction convention.
