What are some weird dreams you have had?

How's being driven off the edge of a skyscraper in the family car sound for a wierd dream? (I used to get that one a lot when I was younger and would wake up terrified)

@Shekwan: When did you get helicopter duties in Vietnam?

My buddies didn't die face down in the muck for you to make comments on forums about it accompanied by lol smilies.

Have some damn decorum, this is not 'Nam, there are rules!

I really didn't think Irish had served in Vietnam. Thus, I didn't think that your buddies died there. But, since you and your friends did serve there, I offer my sincerest apologies. I meant no disrespect to you or anyone else who served there.

Patrick Stewart is fence.

Honestly that was my dream.

Age of 7 or 8, I was sitting at the back of class, and suddenly realised I was dreaming.

Given the knowledge that I was unconstrained, I promptly started flying around the classroom at ceiling height, out of reach of the teacher.

It was some time before I figured I could go out the window, and fly anywhere I wanted.

I once had a dream about waking up to the alarm clock. Then I woke up in reality and noticed I could sleep for 2 more hours. That was the best day in my entire life.

I've had two different dreams about visiting North Korea. In one dream, we were on a drive through the countryside and decided to stop at a Burger King that was apparently only for foreigners. In the other, Kim Jong Il came out to the airport and personally greeted us, taking us out to lunch and having friendly discussions with us. In both dreams I was aware that I wasn't supposed to criticize the regime or do anything like that, but somehow something never quite seemed right.

edit: Oh yes, and I just remembered a third. I was caught by North Korean customs officials with some (legal in the US) drugs I'd totally forgotten were in my backpack. I was frantically trying to talk myself out of getting arrested, knowing that I could have very bad things happen to me, when I woke up.

Not sure why dream-me considers alternate universe-North Korea such a good vacation spot.

Had a very strange dream recently..
My friend broke into my house and stole my laptop and phone..

About the car driving it's self dream I had another dream like that where I am in a car but none is in the drivers seat so I started freaking out and I did not know what to do so then that is where I woke up.

I had a dream where God approached me and ordered me to give up sex. When I refused, He trapped me in a room that looked like a high school classroom. It was only when I gave up sex that He let me go, and started being nice to me.

Looking back on the dream, and looking at what God looked like, He looked like a typical middle-aged alcoholic. That explains everything.

Oh there's so many!

Once I had a dream where I was locked in an INCREDIBLY tall room, with a large TV screen that always showed Obama watching me. I remember yelling at the screen and he would just stre back at me.

There was another where my Teacher was having a birthday party, so I took him to an old ironworks place his dad owned (in the dream). There were thousands of people in there, and I turned it on, and it started moving huge vats of molten iron around. The teacher told me to turn it off, but I told him I've done this plenty of times. Then one vat spills over on the people there, and I jumped to try to catch the lava. It ended with the teacher sending me a gibberish text message about how I was a terrible person for doing that.

Another was in my hometown, a Gunship was chasing me through the streets, and I ran to my neighbor's house, where my Dad and my elderly neighbor were playing board games.

In one dream I was in a big pink and girly city, and the old women leader was making me and some friends do a challenge involving the buildings. Later, I was in a crowed small building and was interrogating a guy who spoke spanish. There were other people around me doing the same thing. He was under the sink, and I turned on the water and started to yell really loudly at him in spanish and I had no idea what I was saying. The others started yelling at him in spanish too.

This other dream was where I was taking me dad's truck to my cabin, and I'm driving from the passenger seat. I get there and I run into a bush, so I have to pull the truck out. I walk into the bathroom and listen to a radio, which I am surprised get's my favorite radio station. I see my dad come to the cabin, and he's mad at me.

In this other, I found a friend on facebook using a fake name. Then I'm in a diner, and the waiter says: "I didn't realize this was a sad occasion," and I reply with: "it was." Then, I'm in a large room with two others, one of which is a girl from school. A voice tells us that we are the last people on Earth and we must kill each other, using unloaded shotguns. The girl and I kill the other person, then I start attacking her with my shotgun, and I kill her. I began to cry, realizing I just killed the second to last person on Earth.

I might have found a way to turn the screen off. The method of choice would naturally depend on how lucid I was. Hopefully I would just turn it off (or make the screen disappear). I have a nasty tendency to overreact and do things like hurl (cast might be a better word, given the size) fireballs at what appears to be non-human people. I remember waking from that dream and finding my hand extended to the wall and having narrowly missed a lamp post.

I remember this one dream that after I woke up immediately thought it was the weirdest dream I'd ever had. I don't remember much since it's been years, but I do remember being in a barn with people all around me sleeping at one point.

Strange dreams........... Well there's the one where I lived out like 20 years and it felt like real time till I woke up thinking I was dreaming then going dang it, because the dream was and still is what I really want out of my life. Then I've been having dreams like that again recently. Its annoying, but the dreams are enjoyable and sometimes quite odd. Although a more weird one recently. I was wearing a red shirt and on a spaceship.....enough said.

Relax I'm joking. I was quoting The Big Lebowski.

It is pretty common though for Vets to have some messed up dreams.
