Oh man, you just reminded me of that awesome 70s/80s fad... UNDEROOS!

A) It is uncomfortable.
B) It can harm circulation in a very important area.

I should probably have skipped A, as B is the only important thing to care about.

Gym shorts and a t-shirt are my usual gear: I dispense with the shirt when weather allows. I sometimes slept nude when I lived alone, but it's not really an option now given that my bedroom has no lock.

I'm half-tempted to buy a pair of pajamas complete with a nightcap for the sheer quaintness of it, though. I could wear that in the winter. :p

I sleep without a shirt and socks, and just wear whatever pants/shorts I'm wearing that day.

I can't sleep without some sort of pants on. Last night I slept in boxer pants. I find my legs rubbing together (I sleep on my side) to be very very irritating.

How? Unless you're wearing like skin tight jeans and you then soaked in a bath tub for 4 hours to shrink them more, I don't see why sleeping would be any different than wearing jeans during the day.

If you have another blanket sure. And if the additional blanket doesn't make it too hot or heavy. And some people also don't like their whole body covered in a blanket. So adding another blanket doesn't solve keeping the exposed areas warm. I know lot of people who don't like their chest or arms covered in a blanket.

What? The exact same things can be said of pyjamas - they're only useful if they're not too hot or heavy - some people don't like their whole body covered in pyjamas.

And want chest covered by shirt, but not blanket is just a weird preference, just get a blanket and wrap it around yourself...

Pillow between your knees?

I usually sleep in gym shorts and a t-shirt. Occasionally if I'm really tired or find myself somewhere overnight when I thought I'd be home that night, I sleep in whatever I was wearing during the day.

I slept with socks until 5th grade or so. Nowadays I only do if it's really cold.

It varies every night. I'd say the most often is a t-shirt & socks combination, so I voted for t-shirt only. Second most frequent would be the first option.

EDIT: I've slept in jeans a dozen times, if you're tired enough it makes no difference to comfortableness.
