Which of the advertisments/ product mascots/product spokespersons on TV annoy you the most? Personally, I think that the Sarah McLaughlin ASPCA commercial with the weepy music is the most annoying commercial I ever expect to see.

Anything with a god damn alarm clock noise.

Sure it grabs my attention, but then I make a note to never buy that product or from that store again.

What you talking about, Truronian?! That was hilarious! The English have the best ads :)

If anything it's YOU CAN DEAL WITH THIS OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT YOU CAN DEAL WITH THIS OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT YOU CAN DEAL WITH THIS OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT YOU CAN DEAL WITH THIS OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT YOU CAN DEAL WITH THIS OR YOU CAN DEAL WITH THAT

Link to video.

There was also a tinnitus ad on the radio a while ago that would simulate having tinnitus that would come on all the time.

Most public service announcements piss me the hell off too. They "educate" you with the most obvious, stereotypical knowledge. Walk on the beach and take the stairs instead of the elevator and you'll lose weight. THANK YOU FOR THIS VALUABLE INFORMATION, I DID NOT KNOW THIS. Do they think we are ********? Another PSA I can't stand is a billboard near downtown San Jose that says something along the lines of: your credit won't fix itself, pay your bills on time.

It get's worse. After dealing with it in Canada for a few years, I moved to Poland, which just started to get those ads... once they finished, I moved to Venezuela and the ads just started!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

HeadOn: Apply directly to the forehead
HeadOn: Apply Directly to the Forehead
HeadOn: Aplican directamente a la frente.

Bloody hell shut up!! :mad::mad:

Why the hell would I give away my car to a :):(:):(:):(:):( kid when I could go to a third world country like Venezuela and sell the used car for MORE than what I paid for it???

Actually, that particular ASPCA commercial really gets to me. I have to turn the channel or I get really upset watching it.

The ones that really annoy me are the ones that try to tie in patriotism with a product. Now, I always liked Mel Tillis, but his commercials for that eyeglass company a few years back really chapped my hide. I cannot remember the name of the company, but the commercial had waving American flags, and Mel Tillis saying something along the lines of , "You know, I love America. And so do the people of <insert name of eyeglass company>". Really, what the hell has that to do with the product? It's insulting to link your product to patriotism.

He should have stuck to Whataburger.

Cheerios ads. I'm tired of constantly being told how "healthy" cheerios is for you.

Plus, I hate cheerios. The sad part, Cheerios is the only cereal for adults that won't fall apart when it gets soggy. All the rest of those cereals are kids cereals.

yeah esp. the ones that devote more time to the side effects than the rest, then say "see how drug x can improve your life, today!"

yeah, hell no, I am not going to cure my allergies if it means migraines, diarrhea, nosebleeds, swollen tongue, trouble breathing, etc.

I think medicine commercials are the worse. At least with some commercials, you can laugh with or at the commercial, but that's hard with medical commercials. Plus, most of the medicines are prescription, so they basically want you to go into your doctors office and tell him what to give you. I'm sure doctors get tired of people trying to beg for certian drugs they saw on TV.

I also hate the ones with the dieing animals and depressing music. Those are horrible to watch.

The only adds I used to like were the Free Credit Report . com jingles and the Billy Mayes ones, but they're all gone now. RIP, Billy.

EDIT: X-post with two others complaining about drug commercials.
